Amazing!!!!! Me and my boyfriend are huge fans of Indian food and since we moved to San Jose we hadnt found a good one until now. We started with the veggie samosas, so good with 2 great sauces. Then we got rice, garlic naan(fresh garlic and toasty naan best iv ever had!), chicken saag (my all time fave and again spectacular! ), chicken Tikka Masala was delightful! I was waiting to dislike something but it just got better and better! We also enjoyed 2 glasses of wine and ordered some extra garlic naan to bring home with our leftovers. All for $48!!!!!!! We were so happy with our experience. Our server was a super sweet girl too. We will be back very soon

We just moved to the area and were trying to find a good Indian restaurant and unfortunately, we werent terribly impressed by this one. It wasnt bad, it just wasnt as good as many other Indian restaurants weve been to before. The samosas were a undercooked, so they were a bit doughy, although the filling was good. The other dishes we got didnt have much flavor beyond slightly spicy. The table we were seated at hadnt been wiped down, so there was dried sauce and food bits on it. It seems like a place that was once really good, but has sort of lost it over the years. Were going to keep looking.

Terrible food! I took a lunch buffet to go - and they had labelled the chicken curry as vegetarian pakoda. They do not even know how to make rotis - they were so oily and not well cooked at all. Even the papads were under fried. The curries were tasteless. Finally, the dessert was also bad tasting with very little sugar in it. The restaurant itself looks dingy. I should have known that the food will be awful too once I saw the place. I had to throw most of the food that I got for lunch! Please save your time/effort by not going to this place. If you dont want to fall sick, please dont go here.

The food and customer service here are absolutely phenomenal. We usually get the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, palak paneer and garlic naan and its consistently excellent. It could use a little facelift inside the actual restaurant but its so good Id dine here anyways. Luckily, we live close by and I just discovered they do delivery...and got maybe a little too excited about that *happy dance* Try it for yourself and youll understand why!

Love the homely atmosphere. The family is humbly friendly. I went for lunch takeout under the condition that I didnt know they offer only buffet for lunch. So they gave me boxes to take out the food from buffet. I wanted only curry so I take small boxes for 2 different curry and order Naan. They asked me to take more food but I said its fine. They look worried that I paid the whole buffet price but took out little. I like the way they are.

The dining area of the restaurant itself is probably the least impressive of all the indian restaurants I have patronized, however, the friendliness of the staff and the food itself is one of my favorite so far, and that goes a long way. It mostly compensates for the condition of the interior. Even still, its pretty cozy dining in. Ive tried their mixed grill, lamb curry, chicken tikka masala, and mango lassi -- they are all very good.

The food here is fantastic and the service is very friendly and prompt. Your table will usually be waited by the owner or his daughter, so they are very personally invested in giving you a good experience. Very nice people. The restaurant is small and the decor could use an update, so not really a great date location, but if you just want some great Indian food, look no further.

This is my "local" Indian restaurant, and its a personal favorite among the Willow Glen eateries. The foods very good, the service quick and friendly. Im a big fan of their Benghan Bartha, and Lamb Pasanda. That said, what other reviewers write about the place is fair and accurate. This is not somewhere to go if you think good food only comes from shiny kitchens!

The interior decor is pretty poor although survivable. Whilst staff start were pleasant, the food was at best average: quite watery sauces, flavors that are well off what you get in India or Bangladesh, and all packed to-go in acres of styrofoam packaging (isnt that banned around here?) As much as I love a curry, I wont be coming back in a hurry.

The vindaloo is amazing. A must try. The Okra is also very fresh and one of the best Ive had. If you make your meal a dinner they will bring nan, raita, and lentils and rice. The paneer tikka massalla does not come on a sizzling platter as I expected but did come in a delicious sauce. Great spot. The food is yummy!

Yummy Indian food with a great neighborhood vibe. The ambiance is lacking, but what it lacks in ambiance it makes up for in friendly service and tasty food. The dinners can really feed 2 people per dinner, so youll leave with plenty of leftovers. And if you live nearby, youll appreciate the walk-ability too!

This place is a hidden spot for Indian (Punjabi) food. As close to home made as it can get at a restaurant. I repeatedly find myself going back especially for the vegetarian offering. They do it better than any other Indian restaurant in bay area.

Admittedly this place isnt much to look at on the outside... or the inside for that matter. But oh my word this is quite possibly some of the best Indian fare I have ever had, putting it high on the list of one of my favorite meals ever.

Little hole-in-the-wall restaurant. I have never actually eaten at the place (and dont know that I would - its small and the atmosphere is mediocre), but Ive gotten lots of take out. Best indian around and super friendly staff.

considering that we went there when the store was just opened. The food was pretty good. Only suggestion is that, please renovate the place, it looks kinda old for a restaurant. Overall a good value for money.

Yeah, the place is a little dingy-looking, but Ive always had good experiences with the wait staff, and this is the most reliably good Indian food Ive found in San Jose. I recommend the mixed veggie kurma.
