I called in today (just a few minutes ago) to request an order for delivery. He put me on hold and kept me on hold for 3 mins, until i decided to hang up and call back - thinking they forgot about me, as i heard them talking in the background. I called back, and said i cannot stay on hold, i have to watch my minutes on my phone. He continued to tell me "Im the only one here, and I cant take your order. If you can wait for 7 mins i can. I have to give the customers here their food first, or you can just call later". the nerve! the time it took for him to put me on hold, explain to me, etc, he could have taken my EASY ORDER! I order from tao yin ALL THE TIME, and the past month or two have been horrible. I think Its time to find a new place to order from - cause this place mistakes orders, delivers COLD food, gives attitude and obviously doesnt care about you if youre not in store.

La mesera que lo atiende a uno es una persona que no tiene educación creo que como mesera debería de tener delicadeza nunca pensé publicar algo así pero creo que ya es suficiente nosotros pagamos por los alimentos y dejamos propina según la atención pero está mesera siempre obliga a los clientes y es más exige la propina y de mala manera para mí está fue la última vez que llego a comer ahí

Lets say I ordered with an open mind. Being a Chinese/Japanese restaurant, my expectations were low for the Japanese food. I wanted to see if they could surprise me. But my expectations were sadly met. I ordered a few items as take out: the Chicken Karaage, the Gyoza, the Tuna Poke and the Sake Maki. It was completely unexciting at best and I just couldnt eat the Chicken Karaage, I had to toss it. Fried chicken! May be the Chinese food is ok.

Had some decent food there, but they served me old, strange tasting jasmine tea; tasted like it does when I leave water with the tea leaves for a day or so, and dont change it: bitter, soapy, and just...blah! I nearly lost my appetite. That honestly stole my trust for ordering things like fish, etc. I kept it basic and left. They seemed disappointed. The bad tea... destroyed my first impression here. I love this style of food though.

Id probably give the food itself a 3-star rating. However, I lowered it to a 2-star rating because when I went to pick up a ~$16 GrubHub order I had placed, the employee asked me to tip her. I explained that the order is simply for takeout for myself, but she insisted. I barely had any cash on me, so I gave her a $2 tip for an order of one entree and one side bowl of rice.

Ordered off the Japanese menu and it was ok, not great. The yaki tofu was fummy The maki (kappa, avocado, and California roll) and gyoza were good. The "fried buffalo wings" were ok, but were just wings no sauce. The chicken yakitori tasted really off though, and kind of wrecked the whole meal.

Food is really 3 stars, but +1 for the friendly and accommodating service. The nigiri was too cold and the fish wasnt great. If youre getting sushi here, stick to the rolls. I did enjoy the SF Giants roll, which is the only time ive ever seen soft shell crab on top of a roll.

Ordered delivery around 930pm, food was delivered by 1020pm. Flavor of food was awesome, made a request for spicy and it surely was. Better than the other options such as chopstix, which is very bland, would definitely want to dine in to have all plates at their freshest.

This is my go to Chinese takeout restaurant! I always order the fried rice and Korean chicken wings, and they hit the spot every single time. As a Chinese person, Im pretty picky with my Chinese food but this is really a great joint with some pretty authentic dishes.

Surprisingly good food. Delivered about 30 minutes early... I guess better then late. We ordered a bunch of food and everyone in my party enjoyed it. I recommend it.
