Came in for dinner tonight ( suggested), by locals of kenmore . We are from Oahu and were craving good Japanese food. The service was absolutely horriable!!! We were sat in a booth ( party of four) It took over 15 minutes to be approached. Couples sat after Us were at least served beverages while looking the menu over. Not us Finally a blond waitress stopped by. Took our entire order: app. Dinner.and beverages..... Came back shortly to say, she couldnt read her handwritting of what we ordered! We repeated the order. Beverages came and then Apps came out ( one at a time) Scallop roll. Tempura. Spicy ahi and tempura roll. ( all was good ) Then: two dinner dishes arrived : Mongolian beef & beef saimin She never came by to check on us, We waited and waited... Flagged another server or busboy to check where the other two entries were? He came back to say: order was not put in.... Meanwhile they are now FINISHED with their meals. I asked to please put Our order in Togo!!! He did.... We waited.... Finally the order was done! And he brought it over. I asked for the check! He did offer a small discount . I paid my 84.00 dollar tab..... I TIPPED MY BLOND WAITRESS NOTHING however I gave the boy a well deserved tip off the entire Bill. Very sad her service! I will not be back!! Food is NOT worth over 100.00 because of service

This is only our second time here. The sushi is fresh and delicious. This time we also ordered chicken fried rice and the rice seemed under-cooked and there was only a little chicken and in general the taste was not as good as my local Teriyaki place (Best Teriyaki on 160th in Kirkland). This was just to satisfy a craving and we probably wouldnt order Chinese food again here, we really came for the sushi which was great, when it came. The service was good, our waiter came over several times to apologize for the slowness of getting our food to us and explained where our order was in the line up. He and the other servers came by frequently to fill water and ask if we wanted something more (we kept the menu-just in case- so they were checking not bothering). As I said the food was slow getting out. The restaurant was not packed and I couldnt see how many patrons were in the bar, but there is only one sushi chef. So, be prepared to wait for sushi, if the parking lot is full. It did seem like others that had order something other than sushi were getting served quicker. Id really give a 4-1/2 star rating if I could... this is just because of the under-cooked rice which I dont know if it was a fluke but we probably wont order Chinese here again.

Ill start off by saying their service was great, but its probably because theyve received so many negative reviews about their service and theyre stepping it up. Good for them! Their sushi is pretty meh, and definitely overpriced for meh. Its pretty American. Im talking mayo in the sushi, with seaweed flakes coating the rice on the outside. The rice didnt taste like it was prepared as sushi rice, but maybe its because of all the mayo I couldt taste it.

Ive been here at least a handful of times, if not more. I wouldnt say these guys are the best around, but they are good. Im particularly fond of the atmosphere here, it feels inviting. Their prices are decent. Ive always had decent to very good service here. Again, I can think of at least 4-5 sushi places that are better in the wider area, but they will be a bit more expensive... Good sushi is good sushi. These guys have it. :)

It might not be the fanciest or shiniest place around but the food is great! The sushi is fresh, large, and delicious! The decor could use an update for sure but dont let that stop you from trying their food. If you like everything to shimmer & shine with the most current decor, well you probably wont like this place. But if you want good food at a decent price, well check it out!

The food is amazing. The sushi is great. The service is generally terrible. Never refill water - impossible to flag down if you want to order more. Our daughter LOUDLY spilled a cup of water on the ground. I had to walk over to the guy making sushi, interrupt him and ask for our waiter or someone who could bring a rag to clean it up. Waited another 5 minutes. No joke.

Went on My Anniversary with my wife. They sat us down and didnt come back for 15minutes. We moved to the bar. They forgot our drinks and took over an hour to get our food. Service was very bad and made us miss our planned date later in the evening... They also messed up a bunch of other orders.. Its too bad because the food was decent when it finally arrived.

The food is all fresh and you can taste it. Nothing comes out soggy or like its been sitting for a long time. The sushi isnt bad, not great. I ordered it twice thinking it was a fluke on account of the food being done well, but its just not what I like. There are too many sushi joints around here to settle. With that said, go for the food. Its worth it.

Prices were off on the online menu and the food was terrible. No flavor at all.. you dont get nearly what you pay for so I highly recommend not coming here. Highly. There is a place right next door that is most likely better than this place. Everything beats outs this place.. waste of money. Rather have McDonalds than this.

Stopped in to this place about 8:00 on a Monday night, and it was pretty quiet. Glad I stayed because the food was great. I ordered a large Sapporo and cold sake to share. The waitress recommended the unfiltered, which also happened to be the most affordable. We chose yew specialty

You know what.. this place has been consistently delicious, prompt, and reasonable prices. The sushi here has always been my favorite. I try new places a the time, but Ikiiki Sushi keeps bringing me back. I recommend stopping in for lunch on day.

Sushi is good but the entrees are heavy and bland. Really wanted to like this as a hot and cold restaurant but it is just another sushi bar. Oh and the portions are huge. They were nice enough to refund me the first time I did not like it.

Oh my GOSH it was so goooooooooooood! I had the Almond Chicken and it is as tasty as the picture looks! The gyoza was good and the sushi was yummy and everything was awesome. big :D after eating the meal!

Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Matt and Katie (Katy?) were excellent bartenders - Matt in particular mixed up some drinks that definitely gave me a bang for my buck. Highly, highly recommend.

Good flavor but very thick pieces of sushi, service was ok but could have been easily improved with offers to refill drinks or checking on the table more often.
