I got there at 3 oclock and and the place was completely empty. I was told I could only sit at the bar as the dozens of empty tables all had reservations. We tried the bar and really werent feeling it , so I went back and asked why again I couldnt have one of the empty tables and was told they were all reserved. So I asked what time are the reservations to which he replied "most of them start at 5:30"... I told him I would be sitting at that table right there and pointed to a table in the middle along the wall and that I would be done by 5pm!!! That ridiculous experience aside, I thought the ribs were very dry and chewy and the tuna tartare way to game. We also had the corn Fritter bun Burger which tasted good but was such a mess that I just ended up eating the burger part with a fork. Unfortunately both my companion and I agree that neither one of us will be returning to E & O anytime in the near future... back to Cheesecake Factory we go :-)

My husband and I went here for supper and enjoyed our experience. The atmosphere and especially the service definitely made this worth it. We sat at the bar and the 2 bartenders gave some good suggestions and did a great job of giving us space while still being there anytime we needed something. We ordered the coconut curry ceviche, the chicken spring rolls, and the Indonesian fried rice. We did enjoy our food although I didnt especially like the fried rice as I thought it was a bit too spicy (Im a wimp though). The spring rolls were fantastic. I think we were most impressed with how well timed our food came. The moment we got done with the ceviche, the spring rolls were there and as soon as we finished the rolls, the rice was there. Overall, we really enjoyed it and especially the service but were wishing we would have tried something different than the fried rice (and it was still really good, just wishing we would have tried something else)

E & O is a great place for happy hour. For $20, you get a generous pu pu platter that includes some very interesting and tasty bites. The chicken sate is a chicken tender and comes with a complex peanut dipping sauces. The ribs have a coffee-soy glaze and they are accompanied by a cole slaw unlike any Ive had before. It has a citrus flavor and it is very refreshing and delicious. The corn fritters were very tasty and the dipping sauce was terrific. The ahi tuna was a small bite, but wonderful. They also include short rib sliders, so there is a fair amount of protein to complement the starch of the taro chips. We also tried the butternut squash dumplings. The pasta and filling were luxurious in the mouth and there were subtle hints of Asian cuisine. The sauce had some coconut milk for another subtle Asian influence. Add a glass of wine for $6 and you have a complete meal.

Several years in a row weve had a large Chinese New Year Parade party at E&O. E&O has changed enough that we probably wont go back. In a typical year, about a quarter of our group is in the parade - they arrive at our party just as the parade was winding down. In previous years E&O had let the parade group order food (as they havent eaten). This year, they apparently changed policy and surprised us. Unfortunately we had children and adults who needed to make a separate booking at the same place to eat. On top of all this, we were charged a fee for not meeting our minimum. Our party will not return to E&O and I likely will not return personally.

Great place for a quick Asian inspired meal. I did not have a reservation but was able to be seated with in 5 min. I would recommend ordering several small plates and sharing with the table. There were two in our party and shared 3 small plates which was perfect. We had the Tamarind & Hoisin spare ribs, chicken satay and Pork pot stickers. Spare ribs had a great flavor but slightly on the small side. Chicken satay had a great sauce and flavor. My favorite was the pot stickers that I would highly recommend. The bar area was very lively and had a good vibe. Overall good food for a good price with nice surroundings.

Came here for dinner with a friend, during HH, and unfortunately the experience was just OK. I ordered the Japanese bop and she ordered the Asian gnocchi. My dish was just okay, was very tiny and overall the flavors were ok. Also quite expensive for how little the plate was... can definitely get yummy and less expensive Asian "fusion" food elsewhere. The service was also just okay. The waitress was a bit off. Came with 2 glasses of wine after we had only ordered one for myself. She also brought out the dessert menu while my friend was still eating her meal! Probably wouldnt come back unfortunately.

Ive been to E&O once for dinner and once for lunch. Lunch was awful. We ordered a round of salads and dumplings. I think our mistake was ordering cold dishes as our mains because I think E&Os strengthes lie in their hot dishes. Over dinner last night, we shared: the cod, shittake mushroom dumplings, papaya salad, pad thai, shaking beef, portabello skewers, and a few more Im sure Im forgetting. It wasnt particularly memorable, but its worth trying if you are in need of a place to dine for work. I met up with 4 colleagues from work and it was the perfect venue for a business dinner.

Came here during their Cumin month and tried the cumin gimlet and the cumin lamb naan. The naan was really good but I found the gimlet a bit too sweet. We also tried the Japanese "bop", the corn fritters, the lapsang souchong deviled eggs tea deviled eggs and the butternut squash dumplings dumplings. The corn fritters were great, as were the deviled eggs. The squash dumplings were good but not great and I didnt care for the bop. Id come back for drinks and small plates. Looking forward to Sichuan pepper month.

I first stumbled across E&O last year and am now a regular -- I often eat lunch and dinner at E&O. E&O offers amazing dishes -- Pad Thai, sliders, corn fritters are a few among my favorites. It is a bit pricey but the restaurant is upscale, the food is delicious, with amazing service, and beautiful decor. I highly recommend eating at E&O for any or all occasions -- whether its brunch, corporate meetings, date night, or simply girls night out, E&O really does provide the best!

I am not sure what everyone is raving about. The food was pricy and bland. We got the Dan Dan noodles and the shrimp dumplings. 0% impressed. Our server was also very inattentive. This was actually my 2nd time going there, thought I would give it another shot. The first time was a let down as well. The fans are neat on the ceiling, but if you are hungry for tasty food dont go there. Try out La Mar on the pier instead.
