Have lived in Tustin for over 20 years. Have been dining in and take out from China Palace forever so it seems. New owners took over maybe 3 or 4 years ago. Food is excellent, friendly staff, made mostly of family, extraordinary service. For anyone to compare their appetizers with something you would buy at Smart & Final is absurd. Have never had a inadequate meal from this restaurant. Abundant portions and delicious across the board! I encourage anyone seeking traditional Chinese food, beautiful ambiance, and a friendly smile to greet you; to give them a try. You will NOT be disappointed! Can not say enough for the good people at China Palace whom are a wonderful addition / fixture to the community! Did I mention that the food is plentiful and scrumptious? If youre looking for a cheap, soggy, un-flavorful meal, which can be found on nearly every corner in Tustin, this is not the place for you.

Great food, excellent service, very affordable. This was our first visit. I imagine this place has been around since the 80s (maybe earlier) and has probably never been updated but that gave it a sort of nostalgic appeal. It was clean and pretty well maintained though. I think most of the customers there were regulars and the place was completely full (always a good sign). Well definitely be back.

It was okay because the serving size was average amount of what I usually eat at big fancy restaurants. The other thing is that it is Americanized and the food just isnt what you would think as it is. You would just imagine that it would be one chance in a lifetime but I, in fact, it was something like I barfed up and ate again. It is somewhat of that disgusting with the appetizers.

Very good food and most importantly its fresh. Vegetables are crisp shrimp has a snap instead of like most places tasting like its been in water for 3 days.. Prices are reasonable and before 6 you get soup and egg roll and a wanton for $8.95. Place is clean as is the mens room.Friendly staff and efficient. It is at the top of my hit parade for Chinese restaurants.

I was there yesterday, the food was excellent, but I was very disappointed with the fried rice... just white rice stirred in oil in a frying pan. No veggies, nothing, bland! Make your fried rice special with substance and you will rule the kingdom once again... excellent service so I tipped the waitress what she deserved, the rice surely wasnt her fault!

Visited on Mothers Day. The lo mein wasnt as good as I was hoping it would be. Sweet and sour pork was great. Kung pao chicken was delicious but it wasnt spicy (though I didnt ask if there were levels of spiciness or anything like that). Hot and sour soup was lovely. Good service, everyone was very patient despite the Mothers Day rush.

Great lunch menu & they are considerate for family style rather than individual meals. Staff are very friendly. The place is comfortable and was not stingly on air con with the temperature outside being so hot. Food is average but presentation of food made it joyful. Overall, a great anchor place. I will come again for different meals.

Great, fresh Chinese food. They serve complimentary jasmine tea if you dine in. Their food is done flavorful and without too much oil or MSG which is a common pitfall for Chinese restaurants. You can tell their ingredients such as vegetables are fresh due to how crisp they are. Price is decent also. Service is good to average.

Ive dined here many times: Several times with my daughter, several times with a group of associates, and a few times by myself. I know my Asian foods, and their food is tasty. Owned by a very friendly family that Ive gotten to know over the years. I stop by every chance I get.

Bright, clean, and airy. Linen tablecloths and napkins. Quiet atmosphere. Ala carte or "package" menu options. Lots of seating. Friendly staff. Options from mild to spicy. Larger parties ok, especially with reservations or other advance notice.

Good food, good atmosphere but bad service. they say u r at good chinese place if theyre rude to you... well, you r here. They may smile but u will not feel welcomed. And dont u dare to ask for substitution, youll get firm and short no!

A very traditional Chinese restaurant. Impressive exterior, decent interior. Food is tasty and about on par with other Chinese restaurants in Orange County. Smaller parking lot, but usually not terribly busy during the weekday lunch rush.

Descent food and pricing. Best time to go is right after lunch time and just before dinner as the restaurant have special pricing specially if your are eating alone. For less than $10.00 you can have a complete meal.

very nice setting with the best Shanghai style foods I have ever tried in LA/OC area. Salk Duck and Smoked Fish are so authentic Shanghai style. Dont like the dish they recommended one night though.

Great American Chinese food that takes me back to my childhood in the 70s. On the menu you will find such classics as Chicken Chop Suey, and Sweet and Sour Pork. Nostalgic comfort food at its finest!

First place Ive found in Orange County that has East Coast type Chinese food and Duck Sauce. The place could do with some renovation, but the food was very good.
