My wife and I have been on the look out for some good Chinese carry out and think we may have found it in Wonderland. Some of the best crab rangoons I have tasted and the Beef Chow Fun was on point. We also had the Walnut Shrimp and Orange Chicken, both of which were good and will most likely order again (after weve had a sampling of some other dishes) Unfortunately one of our dishes had a hair in it and was discovered towards the end of our meal. It put a damper on our meal as we had enjoyed everything up to that point. Heres hoping to the next time we order that we dont run into the same issue. Otherwise I would have given this place 4-5 stars.

My husband and I order takeout from here at least twice a week. Even though I am a meat eater, I love the meatless chicken here. 5 flavor meatless chicken is my favorite entree, which unfortunately does not come as a lunch special. The lunch specials are very good for 7 or 8 dollars. They include an entree and rice (white or brown) and if you eat in it comes with soup and salad, if you take out no salad. Ever since our first time here we have loved the staff and the food. The few times they got my order wrong they made its right immediately. If you havent been here, you must. You wont be sorry. #Promise

The name of this restaurant doesnt go with the ambiance or decor. Its just an ordinary-looking place serving a healthier version of Chinese food, but the restaurant name is easy to remember. I go here with my book club friends and am pleasantly surprised by their vegetarian offerings. Their lunch menu dishes come with a nice salad side. Im surprised its not buzzing more at lunchtime on the weekend, but maybe its more popular for takeout or during dinner hours. Service is very good, accommodating and location is easy to find.

Our favorite Chinese restaurant for sit down our take out. Food is made with fresh ingredients, which you can certainly taste. Everything tastes clean, without the greasy cloy or MSG laden dishes from typical places. I would highly recommend cumin lamb and the roasted duck. Eggplant is good too. Their crispy HK pan fried noodles are delicious, especially the vegetarian, topped with lots of veggies. They deliver to certain areas and its usually still piping hot when it comes.

Wonderland is a clean, efficient operation that makes consistently good food. The restaurant has a casual, not particularly memorable atmosphere but at your first taste of the hot and sour soup youll forget all that. This is a place for eating. Special menu shout out to the General Tsaos chicken (I know its not "real" chinese food but I dont care, its delicious) and the aforementioned hot and sour soup. Takeout is also very easy and quick.

Need to explore more of the Haight! Wonderland was literally wonderland when I found it. Their extensive Chinese food menu is so vast, so delicious and still affordable in SF. Best wonton soup ever, just a small bowl is enough for a full meal. Really fantastic and the service was super friendly, the best thing is that its only 10 mins from home. Xie Xie!

My roommates and I love this place! This is truly an example of a place you only need to try once to become a repeat customer, I order take out from here at least once per week and have told all my friends about it. Great Sesame Chicken and Chow Mein. Fair prices and never any disappointments from staff or quality of food. Good job guys.

Wonderland is decent Chinese takeout/sit-in. Its a nice quick restaurant, and all the food arrives hot and tasty. Ive tried ordering delivery before, (I live only a few blocks away) but they delivery guy was almost an hour late and the restaurants phone continues to ring off the hook.

I was expecting another standard chinese restaurant but this place rocks. The food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. Staff is friendly and very professional. And it is fairly healthy chinese food, so you dont feel as bad eating so much of the delicious general tso chicken

Clean and nice Chinese restaurant in Lower Haight. Portions are very large so plan on eating family style. The chicken dishes are a great value since they give you so much food. They have a small bar as well. The 71, 6, and 22 buses stop right next to this place.

Absolutely delicious, and not just saying that because its my corner Chinese restaurant. Consistently fresh and tasty dishes, quick take-out and delivery, and the friendliest folks. Meatless chicken is my new favorite thing and Im nowhere near a veg.

The guy on the front desk missed charm school. Very very rude. There was a mistake on the order and failed to make good. Dont expect a pleasant experience. I never write reviews so this tells you something about three experience I just received.

It is said that SF living and dining can hurt the wallet, and Wonderland is no exception. Except in this case, every dollar is worth it. The food is great here, and the portions are more than adequate. Highly recommended.

This place is very small, the the service is quick and good. The food is tasty and fresh. Not to mention the cost of the entire meal for a party of 6 was purr of this world. Very inexpensive.

Great food and extremely friendly service. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. Chefs Special "Eggplants Basil Scallops and Shrimp" was probably our favorite dish.

American Chinese food, with some good "meatless chicken" selections. The emphasis is very much on comfort food, but theres nothing wrong with that sometimes.

The Generals chicken seemed powdery/had an undesirable mouth feel. The combo plate appetizer was good, though.

Decent Chinese food though a bit pricey for what you get. Extensive menu, probably better as a done in place.
