This place JUST opened two weeks ago on the east end of the Twitter building, between Market and Stevenson on 9th Street. Upon all glances, this place looks similar, if not identical, to any El Torito, Chevys or similar big Mexican chain restaurant. And, guess what? _IT IS JUST LIKE THEM!_ The restaurant, itself, is situated in a phenomenal spot, accounting for the three out of five star rating - inside the old Furniture Showroom. Its a cavernous space with very high ceilings, exposed everything, and a long bar as the main feature. Cadillac Bar - with a name like that, youd expect Tequila, right? WRONG. Its a generic bar with generic alcohol and sub-par service. It took three bartenders to whip up an overly sweet specialty drink right from their signature cocktails menu. Also ordered, the ceviche - complete with KRAB, krab and more krab. In fact, if there were any fish inside the ceviche (served in a bucket glass normally reserved for cocktails), it was completely indistinguishable from the Krab. The handmade guacamole was preprepped, and the obvious addition of preservatives (how green can an avocado get after an hour at our table?) made it all the less delicious or nutritious. Finally, fish tacos were the main course, and once again, Krab or Goldfish were the main ingredient, also indistinguishable from the ceviche. Finally, I would add that it seems like there were a lot of parents of Twits, mainly seemingly Midwest parents, all of whom seemed astounded by the incredibly noisy interior of this get it up as fast as you can eatery. In short, SKIP IT and head over to Dirty Water (next door) - which isnt much better, but TWICE as expensive. Who knows, you might run into President Obama on one of his many gimme money visits, or even a more powerful individual, the Chief Twit, himself...

Hidden on 9th street, and coming back after a hiatus, is the Cadillac bar and grill. Its big its open-air, the bar is very long, There were lots of tables on the night we were there, but Ill bet this place fills up when its not a few days before Christmas. We had a gigantic fajitas plate that served everybody at the table. Every meat was cooked perfectly. The pork was oh so tender, the steak oh so flavorful, the chicken barbecued just right. If youre observant as you come in you might notice giant stacks of bags of Mesquite charcoal, and it adds a nice flavor to that chicken Ill tell you. My wife who is the beans expert declared their beans to be one of the best, "wow" I said. That doesnt happen very often. We were all off to other engagements after dinner so we didnt do much drinking, but the drinkers at the bar were having their shots of tequila and slamming down the glasses, where you would think somebody drop something really large on the other side of the room. Prices seem reasonable for the area, parking was simple for me, and I think its worth coming back, on another trip thru San Francisco.

Excellent, slightly different, Mexican food served by quick and pleasant staff. Ive been with parties of two and twenty, and we have always received great service and been very comfortable. But, really, its about the food. The food is so much better than I expected. The vegetarian chili rellanoes were outstanding, and the puffy fish tacos were unexpected and delicious. I dont eat red meat, but my friends have raved about the steak frittatas and the cheesy appetizer that has some sausage in it. Things to consider: 1 - They can be VERY quick with the food. We have taken to telling the server what we want only when were ready for it... they dont seem to be able to pace the food delivery. 2- The house margarita is the one we like best. Tasty, fresh. The premium selections a) cost more and b) introduce an additional flavor that doesnt really need to be there. We have started coming here regularly to show visitors the new mid-Market vibe and also to have a nice meal for two.

Came here for dinner with my wife and we both ordered the puffy tacos and I one mango margarita. The drink was $10 and I expected it to come in a margarita glass but came in a what I would say is a champagne flute. It was tasty, but so not work the price for the amount you got. I ordered the braised carnitas tacos - the puffy tacos were greasy and I had to pat it with a napkin. I didnt enjoy the flavor of the meat either -- it was a little too tangy for my taste. My wife ordered the fish, her tacos werent as greasy, but the fish was dry. Also, chip and salas arent free -- they cost $2 if you want it, or you can got to any other Mexican restaurant and get it for free. You can probably conclude that our experience with the food was disappointing, especially at that price point. Service was good, our waiter was friendly and helpful.

Very good. We just finished up dinner at The Perennial and SURPRISE! we were all still hungry. Not seeing anything appetizing for dessert, we decided to hop the street and get some down home chips and salsa and dessert. The chocolate lava cake was inhaled by all as well as the tres leches cake. The chips and salsa were yummie and crunchy. I think next time we will skip the fancy dinner and stop in here. We all sucked down our margaritas by the pint. yum.

Favorite taco spot in ATL.You seriously cannot order wrong at Cadillac Bar & Grill. I could eat this Tex-mex all day, everyday. Although I cannot stray away from my typical order of fried chicken and Memphis tacos, I always wish my stomach could fit more. The service is quick, but youre expected to eat at that pace (unless you eat at the bar). Lines are typically out the door, but fear not because a table is always available after youve ordered.

Waiter got my order wrong and was upset when i nicely told him i was allergic to what he brought me. Things were missing with the meal. Never refilled our drinks though we would have paid for it even the water. The nachos were from taco bell. Was not impressed. When we asked about the bill we were told he was busy putting in a meal for another party that we would have to wait though we had already been waiting.

If you like Americanized un-authentic mexican food this is your place. Be careful of their agressive suggest selling and offers of "chips, & salsa guacamole for the table"....guacamole will cost you $9.00 extra dollars! And "mexican soda" in the bottle versus refillable fountain drinks will be $3.00 a pop. Overall disappointed with the food and the restaurant.

Came here for lunch during the weekday. The place gets pretty crowded on Fridays after 12 so if youre bringing a large party, it is best to come right at 12. Food is the typical Mexican fair but quality was surprisingly good. I had the carnita plate, both portion and quality were excellent. Service couldve been a bit quicker.

The food was delicious and arrived very quickly. The live music and atmosphere terrific, too. The service was lacking. The staff member assisting us took our order and then only returned once as the food arrived. Our water glasses remained empty for the remainder of the meal (only refilled after the check arrived).
