Maybe Im ordering the wrong things but Ive been here a few times for lunch and once for dinner but I have yet to have an impressive meal here. Dont get me wrong, its not bad but I would expect more for the price (entrees high teens/low 20s). The Chicken Jambalaya was not very flavorful. The Chicken Salad was actually decent. It had a good blend of textures and tastes with the creamy bleu cheese, tart/crisp apples, toasted pecans and bittersweet currants. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. Its a good place to hang out and catch up with old friends, which is enough of a reason to return. The bar is pretty decent

Interesting find tucked away in Emeryville. From the outside it looks more like it belongs on a pier somewhere rather than among a bunch of converted warehouses. Inside is cozy and intimate and they have a great porch area. The menu is more traditional American fare than "new American", and while they offer a great selection of dinner salads, the flavors were generally uninspired. The service was competent and timely although not spectacular. Probably the best date spot Ive found in Emeryville but if you drive a few more miles into Oakland or Berkeley there are more compelling options.

Fantastic dinner!! It was my first time visiting and I was all set to order the Coconut BBQ Ribs off the menu then the waiter dropped the news that they had a 12oz prime rib on special that night. A friend familiar with the place said it was really good, so I went with his recommendation. I couldnt have been happier! The prime rib came out perfectly cooked (medium-rare). It was juicy and flavorful and somewhat large for a 12oz cut. Drinks and appetizers were also delicious. The mashed potatoes were a little bland, but overall, I was thrilled with the meal.

I pulled up in a lyft and my heart sank. Where did i go Wrong? Then I went inside and it has an outdoor patio and reminded me of a barn with the cedar wood and then had a fireplace and a full bar♡ The food was so good that I was blown away! Everything had so much flavor♡ It was perfection ♡ Server was ok. I had to ask for stuff and I dont know if she was just letting us have space. I couldnt figure out that vibe. I was not sure. But the food....mahalos chef♡♡♡♡ Absolutely love the menu and selections! Bravo♡

I wish there were more places like this. Nice enough to feel like its not just another place to grab a bite, but not so expensive that it has to be one of those super-special occasions to splurge on. Fantastic spot for a nice date. Just wish the patio had some heaters so it would be comfortable more often.

Great California American food. From Prime Rib to Vegetarian entrees. Excellent cocktails and a very nice wine list. Service is top notch. And the price for the quality cannot be beat. Im not a big fan of what some would call American Food, but this place has won me over.

Prime rib is perfection and the Caesar salad is an excellent compliment. Always try the beef stroganoff if its on the menu and dont forget appetizers and deserts. While its great for groups, I like sitting alone at the bar as well.

Pot stickers were on point. Scallops worked on a number of levels and really tasty. Despite place looking dumpy on outside, the inside is sharp and well appointed. Excellent dining experience. Loved the art work. Will be back.

Unassuming from outside, but wow is the food delicious. Lots of menu options for lunch and everything was well prepared, good quality and fresh. Ambience was pretty nice also, good for business meetings or romantic dinners.

I also ate with #Billy Pfiefer at the Townhouse and the Seafood Risotto and the Prawns were the most flavorful and delicious dishes I have ever enjoyed. I highly recommend dinner at this amazing, welcoming place!

Good food options, good atmosphere, serves lunch and dinner, servers are good (if not slightly slow), and the building has a rich history...just ask one of the long time patrons. This place has a loyal crowd :)

Happened upon Townhouse Bar & Grill on our way to SF and so glad we found it. Great family dinner. We had a table full of food and the garlic fries were everyones favorite... Had to order a couple more rounds!

Our band just got to play a private party here and the food was excellent! We had the halibut special with prosciutto risotto and it was terrific as were the appetizers. Great atmosphere, too. Enjoy!

Delicious food. Definitely need to make a reservation or you wont be able to get a table. The food is amazing, we got pork chops, the beef tenderloin, and a burger. Would definitely go back.

The prime rib was better than "the house of prime rib"! Stuffed jalapeño prawns wrapped in bacon! Excellent!!! Staff was friendly. Service was okay. Coming back for the prime rib!

One of my favorite food places in Emeryville. Food is great. Love the sliders and the crab cobb salad. Theyre patio seating is a bonus. Quiet and intimate place to have dinner :)
