Ive eaten the steak and Ive read the reviews. I give this establishment for Stars based on good service and a delicious steak. For the rest of the meal comma the steak dinner came with a baked potato ordered a small thing of cottage cheese and a salad. The salad came out on a cup saucer Kama it was literally 6 inches around. My baked potato was a russet that look like it came out of a regular 10 pound bag of potatoes not an ideal baked potato that would generally come with a steak dinner. Unfortunately the baked potatoes tasted like it had been in the microwave and it was not completely cooked. This place has up and down reviews but I am reminded by my brother that for the area its the best steak in town and I wholeheartedly agree with him it is the best steak in town as for two steak dinners for 4999 I just would have wished the sides would have been at the level that the steak was in regards to taste and size, thank you

This was my first experience at AA and it lasted 3 seconds. Having an attitude and being rude is not how you solve a problem especially as an employee. My family and I came in to have dinner and it being my first time in, did not realize you had to have an ID to have dinner. As soon as we sat down she asked to see my ID, which I didnt have. She immediately said I had to get out. Now I understand. I get the policy. However my parents did not. Dont just ignore your potential service and not explain why you cant have them in there. She responded so rude and disrespectful. I was embarrassed at how she was talking to us in front of the other customers. I will not be returning. People like that dont deserve tips nor service. I really hope she is addressed by her manager because as long as she is there I cant see me saying any good things nor going back. Respect people. Its necessary for good business.

My boyfriend suffered food poisoning after eating here. He threw up for hours, and after that it was intense diarrhea. All night. No one in the house got any sleep and he still feels terrible. Our server was very busy running both the bar and tables and was very short tempered with us. Received rude treatment again over the phone today when I called to talk to a manager about my boyfriends sickness. Was told a manager would call back and never received that call. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

Three visits, great steak every time, and I was impressed by the service since the bartender was doing everything. Dont be afraid of the few bad reviews- youre gonna get a great steak and it wont take long- if you want a bored waitress to be free to take your crap at any moment, go to Dennys, but if you are comfortable in a bar and dont feel insulted when you have to wait your turn, and you care whats on your plate, youd rather be here.

OH MY GOSH! The food is off the charts!!!!! I would have given it five stars but it took a long time to get our food on a Saturday night! The steaks were off the hook and the prawns to die for! If you are looking for veggies with your meal, stop looking! This is a meat and carb meal that you will not want to miss! A hole in the wall that is so worth investigating!

Back alley entrance, food was good maybe pricey but I usually dont order steak but burgers were a lunch item not served at dinner time. Craft beers on tap were good at a fair price. Could stand to update to larger TVs. Quant little place with a good crowd of people. Id go back if in the area for lunch, maybe award another star ;-)

Best straight-up steaks in the county. Nothing fancy, and the atmosphere is "grungy local bar," but the comfort food is good. Come here for weekend breakfast or simple dinners any evening, but be sure you know what you want when the bartender/waitress asks the first time or youll wait half an hour for her to get back to you again.

Very busy, crowed when we walked in. Found a very small table along the wall/walk way. Service was semi quick. Hats off to the kitchen - the steaks were perfect and great!! Would have been nie to have another server working, the staff of 2 on the floor/bar could have used an extra hand.

Steak tasted like lighter fluid and when I let the server know she went to infirm the "Cook" who came running out and through tshe steak down on the bar in front of me and preceded to yell at me WE DONT USE LIGHTER FLUID. So beware you better like it if not dont say any thing

Excellent porterhouse steak, friendly waitress, multiple ball games on bigscreens. Highly recommended. This was on a weekday with a small group though, I wouldnt think you would get the same experience on a crowded night with a big party (2 star review below).

We are new in town, my husband and I, we waited to be seated but notice we should find our own seats and that we did. Waited for 20 minutes no one waiter offered us the menu or water. Its a shame! We left and went down the road to Shamus T bones

best steak in town.... local atmosphere big-city people may find it beneath them if youre one of those people Do not show up . Youll feel miserable and make the rest of us uncomfortable. But if youre cool and hipp the steak is very good.

Incredible steaks. Hole in the wall. I would never have gone and if it wasnt for some really good reviews Im blown away about how good the steak is . If you are in Eureka this is a must stop for a great steak dinner

The food is excellent here.. I used to get the surf and turf and countless bloody marys... I miss this place, it is SO good!! Larry is such a great cook and bartender too. VERY funny man!

Bars are not my thing, brother in law took us here for breakfast. People were friendly but I wasnt impressed with the food. But, its a bar, not a resturant, so there is that.

This place is super slow. They also have a very limited menu. How they can have a 5 item menu yet be so slow is beyond my understanding. Kind of expensive for what it is too.

Went in once, over priced food, seemed sketchy. Bad part of town, bar across from cop station, overall bad loction. The alibi in arcata has yummy steaks 10$ cheaper.
