We were introduced to this place by a co-worker when a planned after work game of bowling failed at Presidio Bowl. Our first time here, I was starving because I was coming from the East Bay to meet up with everyone and they were able to grab some bites at the pre-game place. We were informed they just let the cook go and the replacement person wouldnt be there for another hour and it would be a limited menu. We were all surprised how decent the food was when we finally got to order. My 2nd time here for another after work get together. I got the double pork chops $20.00. First of all, it wasnt a double, but a single. It was well seasoned, tender, and moist. The side of grilled then fried corn was ok, it needed some seasoning, which I added some hot sauce, but there was no salt on the table. I snagged a bite of someones fish and chips, and it was good, nice and flaky, good batter. This is always a fun place for us to hang out because we can chat and laugh for hours. They have a pool table, but when the room is full (which happens after pm), theres not enough room to play without hitting someone in the head. They have a ping pong table out back, which my co-workers had a blast playing while the rest of us lazy bums chilled and drank our beers. The servers are friendly, but since heres only two of them, you do have to do a bit of waiting to order sometimes. Its a good neighborhood bar.

I watched the Drive In,Diners and Dives episode and was psyched to go and have dinner there. Two of my party and I called ahead to make sure it was open (Kitchen)- they said the kitchen was open till 10PM-.When we got there it was practically empty. We had ten people in our party, The owner told us the kitchen closed an hour ago,we got there at 930PM. We were totally bummed. The service obviously sucks because they have a whimsical way of doing business. We were like :"hey, your going to make a couple hundred bucks on an off night". Wont be going there in the future.Very dissapointed

I think Id be better able to remember their food quality or variety of drinks if the music wasnt blasting in our ears the entire time. Im not exaggerating when I say that they were bumping it at club volume. The crab cakes, calamari and cheese sticks were all really good. I wasnt a fan of the shepherds pie but I am pretty particular with it so I dont think its the restaurant. My friend had the mac and cheese and said it was great

Awesome neighborhood place. Obviously if youre coming this far out into the Richmond, dont expect a classy joint. We keep it divey out here! The bartenders are always super nice and down to earth. Their fries are AMAZING. All the other food Ive had here is great as well, though I usually just come for the beer, ping pong, pool table, shuffleboard table... no shortage of fun times.

I really liked this place but wasnt blown away. Prices were insane for the food they were cooking. BUT we thought a quesadilla was over priced until it came out the size of a Frisbee and tasted absolutely amazing. Probably on of the better quesadillas Ive ever had in my life. Everything else though was just mediocre and cost to darn much.

Went there awhile ago after seeing it on Diners and Dives. Food was good, think I had the steak or chops but, not being "Popeye" I must admit, the spinach was the most memorable! Even cooked it up myself at home. A definite rarity in itself!! Cooking spinach I mean. Price is kind of high but, being S.F. that was to be expected.

Overpriced, over-rated, sometimes arrogant staff. Credit card minimum varies apparently with the mood of the bartender. Sometimes its $25. Sometimes its $45. Always its excessive. Food is overpriced, as in $18 for a basic sandwich. Its a basic neighborhood bar that was on TV and its gone to their head.

On 9/25/15 I experienced hate and racism from a caucasiam male bartender at this place, who seems to know me because I live in the neighborhood and he kept mentioning my workplace. While I respect the private property right, its sad to experience this in front of my friend and co-workers

I went here on St. Pattys Day and found there to be one waitress/bartender running the show. The pork chop was great but the place didnt feel very clean. There was a weird area next to us where the flys were bad. They were just circling around this certain area. I wouldnt go back.

This place seems to be recently updated. New furniture and an open window to the kitchen. Seems like theyve pulled their shizz together as in the past it was sort of hit or miss if the kitchen would even be open. Still has that sweet dive bar cred though.

Havent tried the food, but will definitely be back to. Good beer prices and fast table service even if you arent ordering food. Excellent place to swing by for a couple of drinks in the afternoon, or to stay all night and get hammered.

A big time dive bar with a good beer selection and sports games on the TVs. But the food!!! The food is unexpectedly amazing. My favorites are the double cut pork chop and the mac and cheese.

Great French fries, pretty good pulled pork and fish & chips. Friendly staff. OK for kids. Star Wars pinball. Fun music on the jukebox. Got a bit of smoke blowing in from the patio.
