A solid, well rounded san diego taco shop. Excellent breakfast burritos, carnitas and beyond. I love that their burritos have texture, the bacon is crispy, this sort of thing, very important for me. For the angry person with soggy carne asada fries.. I regret to inform you that carne asada fries start to become soggy the second they are plated, may I suggest eating them right away or not ordering them in the future. If I had to guess you probably took them to go and by the time you opened them up they were soggy. You should not be surprised by this phenomena. Do you get mad at your cereal when it becomes soggy as well?

I lived less than two blocks from Bahias for 15 years. Moved away five years ago (live in Texas now-lots of "Tex-Mex" good food here) and I *still* miss the food at Bahias. Always fresh, always friendly staff, the salsa bar (their salsa verde was my favorite), great value, always satisfied. I recall only two times in 15 years did they ever make a mistake with my order-made good on it when I brought it to their attention. Cozy "diner" always clean.

The only reason I would go to this place is because it was closest and I didnt feel like driving. Im not saying its that bad...though its not very good, either. Seems just a little dirtier than the places I prefer. But they do have a pretty wide menu, and something that always pleases me, 3-4 help yourself hot sauces. If you need a burrito and cant make it anywhere else, you wont be too disappointed here. But dont go out of your way.

Was at the DMV for an excruciating 3 hours renewing my drivers license, I was starving. I was driving back toward Mission Valley and saw this small mexican shop in a small strip mall. I went in ordered a couple fish tacos to-go. The fish tacos were very flavorful. Service was fast and friendly. Would stop this way again for a quick fix of fish tacos!

My family has eaten here for years on our way back from Balboa Park. The food is always the best and the service is fast. We love it. Its a little crowded but just wait for your food and a table comes clear. Cheerful family runs it and the decor is typically bright and cheery. Give it a spin!

I ordered carne asada fries. The wait was about ten minutes. The fries are the crinkly big ones which I usually dont like but they were actually good. They were generous with the toppings. The salsas arent that great kinda watery and unflavorful.
