I love the food here when they get it right, but every time I have come here they have messed up my order. I keep giving this place chances and they keep screwing it up. I rolled up to the drive threw and the girl inside told me to give her a second in a very stressed manner. Waited 5 min and then drove off. Looking inside there was no one at the counter. I have sat down inside hopeING that they would not screw up the order and alas they still did. The staff sucks and it is ruining the buisness. I live in point loma and would rather drive to the one in hill crest then come to this one even though it is closer.

I dont know how many nights this place has been the saving grace for me and many other "starving" party zombies. Everything on the menu is good and portions are huge. Staff who work the drive through are super nice and understanding which is surprising considering the types of belligerent customers they must get on the daily. I give this place 5 stars and a burrito!

I cant speak for anything else on the menu, but man is the California burrito good! I know it is a hotly-debated food topic, especially in San Diego, but this is the best California burrito I have ever had. They used to be called Santanas I think, and Im not sure why they changed... the new name is kinda lame. But the food is still great!

Workers at this place are RACIST/RUDE toward Latinos especially if you speak Spanglish. Yesterday past midnight I heared one of the worker telling a customer that "you dont need to speak Spanglish because we are in United States....blah blah blah. Please try to avoid it! PS Im not even a Latino and still I find it racist

The service was nice, but they didnt have the flautas listed on the menu. Instead I was offered beef rolled tacos that turned out to be cold and rubbery. We also ordered a fish burrito and carne asada taquitos - all cold and not very good. Salsas were flavorless on top of it all. One extra star for being a 24 hour joint.

One moment, and Ill suggest a life changing burrito... 1st, staff is awesome; day or night they are hustling! 2nd, place is clean and very well kept. 3rd, LA PAZ BURRITO (no rice, no cheese. xtra sour cream) BOOM!!! The shrimp are succulent, the beef is tender! Sink your teeth in and try not to say YUM, I dare you.

I DONT KNOW HOW THIS PLACE GETS EVEN 2 STARS. IM A LOCAL HERE AND I USE TO COME THERE PRETTY FREQUENT BECAUSE ITS THE ONLY MEXICAN SPOT IN THE AREA BUT THEYRE FOOD IS NEVER FRESH. SOGGY BURRITOS, STALE BEEF/CARNE ASADA. PLEASE MAKE THE EXTRA MILE AND DRIVE TO ANOTHER LOCATION. THERE FOOD IS GARBAGE.

The place smelled like a dirty wet dog when we walked in. Carne asada on my friends California burrito had a bad smell and taste ( as if the meat had been left out for a long time before being cooked). My adobado quesadilla was very greasy. Friendly staff however!

Now Tonys. Long ago used to be a santanas also once frsh Mexican food. Still one of my favorite in San Diego although I like the one on Washington a bit better. Worth going to if youre nearby.

Very good fresh food but the seating area is small and awkward. Service is fast and when I told them serving was too small for what I paid they added to it promptly. Recommended.

Veggie burrito was great but couldnt even try to attempt the red salsa on the side. I opened it and it was half way full and it smelt like vinegar s***... Glad theyre 24/7 tho

Better quality food than any of the bertos around. Good recipes. The Machaca taquitos w/ white sauce and a Mexican Mocha from starbees next door makes an awesome brunch.

Cheese was not melted, meat was mostly grease, and very bland. Rice was undercooked and the re-fried beans were cold. Worst burrito I have had in San Diego.
