I used to come here pretty frequently and really enjoyed coming here. The food was always fresh and on point. The service was excellent. I neglected to come here for a year or so and was extremely disappointed upon coming back. My first time back was a few months ago. Our server was crazy. He kept coming back to our table every few minutes. Its not like we ate more than two plates between us. And they didnt need to free up tables. We were only there thirty minutes. He just kept coming over. My husband went to use the bathroom and in the five minutes he was gone this guy came up three times and the third time actually asked me where he had gone!? At that point I had had it and told him his actions were unacceptable and we just paid and left. When we were there the quality of the food had gone way downhill. The vegetables tasted rotten. Ingredients were missing from the dishes (especially the more pricey ingredients). Everything was old too. I neglected to pass judgment on them that time. I noticed that the nice college kids who had the breakdancing hobby werent working there, so I figured maybe they graduated from uwf and replacements hadnt been found yet. But Ive just come back with my sister in law, so she could sample some Thai, before we went to a nice place like Thai 54. Well we were totally disappointed. The food was somehow worse than the last time. The vegetables they had cooked in the dishes were more ROTTEN than before, I almost gagged. We had some soup and summer rolls because we knew we had to pay anyway, once wed touched the buffet. And unbelievably that same waiter was there! Only this time he NEVER came over to our table. The worst part was, we got the check and they charged us $9.95 for the lunch buffet!!! I said they must have made a mistake, but then my sister in law moved a napkin container back on the table to reveal that the prices were listed underneath the plastic table cover. $9.95 for that slop!!! How many places in Pensacola charge you $9.95 for a lunch buffet!? The buffet there is small and they have NOTHING expensive on it. No seafood or fine cuts of meat. NOTHING that could justify $10. I would NEVER have come here knowing that. They changed the prices and specifically took down the menu board with prices at the front. What an absolute scam. Do not come here. You can get better Thai food ANYWHERE in town, I promise you. Seriously, anywhere.

I chose to go here again to give it a second chance. The first time I ate here they were small and not too much to offer. After going back their last night I realized that I was not missing out on much. We got there at 8:30 and it closes at 10. We were one of maybe four couples eating at the restaurant. I was not given a menu so I assumed we would just eat the buffet. The food was well understocked and what remained was cold. When I went to get simple rice the rice was stuck in a mound and would not shake off of the serving spoon. The things that seemed to taste good were still cold and my drink was never once refilled. This is a family owned business I assume because I kept hearing our waiter call for his mother. They were cleaning up buffet bars and getting stuff ready to close and the place still had an hour left of business. Gah I hate to complain, but after spending 30 dollars on a meal I was still horribly hungry. It would have been nice if they offered to make some stuff that they were lacking at the buffet. I would never reccomend this place.

Came on a Sunday evening, I think we were the only ones here. The host/server was terribad. He didnt grab menus or silverware before seating us. He seemed mentally slow but not in the retarded way. Took him forever to take our appetizer and entree order. Forgot to bring silverware and water after we asked once. My food came out before my partners. I had finished appetizer, soup and my entree before his came out. I had the chicken lemongrass soup, it was overly spicy and salty. I has the green curry shrimp, which was ok but very soupy for a curry dish. Ive had better where I live. He has the seafood basil which was ok as well. Nothing either of us though phenomenal. The server brought the bill before asking if we wanted dessert or anything else. Overall, service was shitty, food was ok, atmosphere was dated and dreary. Doubtful we would come back.

Buffet looked ancient, so we ordered a la carte. Shrimp spring rolls were only digestable, chicken satay was chewy and considerably overcooked, watched chef come and take old pad Thai off of buffet and then 5 minutes later my pad Thai arrived and it was huge portion that was inedible, my boyfriends Buddha delight was unspeakable and he wont even talk about it...not to mention the bunny bread served with the satay. The best was the garnish with the satay which was pickled cucumbers, tomatoes and red onion....delicious. we took two bites of our entrees and then left. Our waiter was a nice guy and I kinda feel bad for him. Oh and the neat fans dont run...AND no jasmine tea. This place has gone down hill and its a shame.

I eat at Siam pretty frequently and only once in the years Ive been going there has the food ever just been "OK". The wait staff is always super nice, no matter who it is. The dining area is nice and clean and the food is AWESOME. The service is usually really fast too. The Drunken Noodles are a family favorite, highly recommended. Oh, and its not a fast food place. Its just in an old Backyard Burger. The drive thru isnt functional. So dont go if youre expecting to be in and out. It is a real sit down restaurant. They do take out though.

Ive been here years ago and had the same experience. If youve ever been to Thailand as I have many many times or maybe you just love Thai food I wouldnt recommend the buffet. Its no where near authentic. Spiced way down to fit what I assume American taste buds. I will return as I love Thai food but next time I will definitely order off the menu with hopes the food will actually be thai. Thai recipes however missing the spice. Servers where good and the the service was good as well. The atmosphere of the restuant didnt bother me at all.

We ate here this evening and I was told by the server that it was busy earlier so we basically ate left overs the food was completely dry and very disappointing most of the buffet was empty and what they has available was almost not edible I was told by the waiter that if I would have come sooner I would get fresh food thats just plain nasty I felt an animal being served old food I dont recommend this place it was an horrible experience

If you like Thaie, this is the place. A great lunch buffet at a very reasonable price is available, or you can order off the menu. The food was really good considering it was a buffet. Would have liked a little more options on meats. A lot of chicken but also a lot of vegetarian options. Very good, but with a little more options it would be great. The best service Ive ever had at a buffet. Will definitely go back.
