An absolutely wonderful delight. The service was engaging, and the atmosphere was of a welcome into their home. The food was authentic: Dragon roll was flavorful as well as appealing to look at The sukiyaki was an explosion of flavor and textures, served in a quaint bowl. The gyoza is a must-have, it is made with chicken and pork And the green tea icecream is a finish any refined pallet

Im very sorry to have to give a "dislike" on this one since the owner is a very hard working lady. However, the most important thing in sushi is *fresh* fish, and the fish here was *not* fresh to the point that it was hard to swallow; two servings on ginger couldnt get rid of the aftertaste. I regret trusting the reviews and going here.

Weve been trying the sukiyaki at several upper-Peninsula Japanese restaurants. Aji Ichi has had the best so far. (We used to go to Kamemeshi House in South San Francisco, but theyve been "offline" since February.) The sukiyaki at Aji Ichi is comparable, closer to our house, and (most important) available!

This is your run of the mill Sushi restaurant. Quite mediocre. Nothing wrong with it. But nothing great or special either. Service, Food, Ambience are all average. I visited Aji Ichi based on the high ratings and can not fathom where they came from.

Ive been to almost all the sushi houses in San Bruno and when I tell you that the service here is extremely hospitable, then that is the "worst" part about this place. The food is splendid and one can taste the freshness In the ingredients

Nice ambiance, very cozy. Great service and food is tasty and reasonably priced. We also order from here for work through GrubHub and they never disappoint. Overall a great place to go for a Japanese meal any time of the day.
