The food is AMAZING! The staff is INCREDIBLE! The atmosphere is EXTRAORDINARY! Okay, I think you can tell I love this place. It is very rare that I cant find at least one negative thing to say about a place, but here we are and I have only praise. First of all, the food here is really good. If you havent had tapas before, its an experience all its own. The basic concept is that you order lots and lots of really flavorful appetizers for everyone to share. This can get a bit pricey with some of the items on the menu, but I assure you that everything is worth what you pay for it. I wont get into individual items because there are just too many to describe. Instead I will give advice. Order lots of different items if this is your first time. Try a little bit of everything, ask the staff to describe the items. If you find something you really like, order more. The salads are very good as well. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Theyve made a couple of special occasions very nice for us. They are always glad to give you advice on food, wine and cheese selections. Ambiance is very cozy and has the ability to accommodate large parties and small groups. They also have a beautiful outdoor area that overlooks a picturesque pond and wetland area.

We just had dinner there tonight. We were seated on the patio overlooking the pond which was nice, however the tables and chairs leave much to be desired -- they are wood slated and picnic-table like. The salt and pepper, etc. are on the level of a Dennys. Overall the patio ambiance, aside from the pond view, is seriously lacking. It took over 15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge that we had been seated by the hostess and longer to get wine. We had to ask for napkins and silverware after our appetizer was served. The food is reasonable, nothing I would go rushing back for, but good enough. There is definitely potential here but the owner/manager needs to get his/her act together, hire more help on a Saturday night, bring the volume down on the inside entertainment (which is good, just a little too loud), and spruce up the patio with table clothes for the tables and possibly plants to break up the area and create a feeling of more intimacy.

I went there this morning with my family. It is my second time. The first time I went, the service was horrible and decided never to return, but my boss, the wife, convinced me otherwise today. I have enjoyed the food both times, and being from chicago, I know good food. I am pleased to see that our waitress today was very pleasant and made the experience much more pleasant, but I do sense that their workers are not very happy and echo the sentiment that they can be neglectful and rude sometimes. It is meant for a constructive critique only. with good service, I would have given it 5 stars.

We have eaten at Toast 3 times for breakfast which is okay. Today my husband ordered squash soup which tasted like chicken consomme with a hint of squash that was so very thin & greasy plus he ordered a Cobb Salad that was dried out overcooked chicken and undercooked bacon with blue cheese that tasted a bit spoiled. The lettuce was good. My french toast was good. We told the waitress the complaints and she did not know what to do so she just brought the bill. $35 for a brunch that we could have had somewhere else for half the price and better quality.

Went last night and can highly recommend the beef skewers and ribs. The pesto mashed potatoes were delicious too. I have no complaints about the service. The waitress was very attentive, knowledgeable and polite. Also, last night was "Yappy Hour" and people brought their dogs and enjoyed dinner on the patio. I will definitely go again and bring my dog to the next "Yappy Hour". All together, I had a good time with good friends, good food and good wine!

This is not a cheap place, and theres a reason for that. Its an incredible Tapas restaurant in a great location overlooking a body of water. The atmosphere is very high end, and every dish is incredible. The happy hour doesnt really save you much, although if youre hungry, I hear they have an All You Can Eat Paella. I highly recommend the saffron aioli paella balls

There is a new chef at Toast and our last two dinners there, during a blues night, were fantastic. We tried a new Pinot chosen by the owner that was incredible! The atmosphere could use a little "warming up" but the food is worth it!

The staff are rude and ignorant. I will never go back ! It is a special restaurant for a special group, not all ethnicities are welcome. The quality of food is nowhere close to metropolitan area restaurants, but over-priced.

Simply wonderful. Great wines, food, service and atmosphere. I highly recommend the crab tater tots and pozole. How can you.not love a place that gives you a bite of candied bacon with each glass of wine!

You cant order wrong on their incredible menu. For maximum enjoyment, embrace the tapa ideology and order several small plates. The menu changes seasonally, but the consistent lamb lollipops are the best.

This place could use better customer service to match its overpriced menu. The food was okay. Live entertainment was pretty good. Not worth coming back to, you are better off going elsewhere.
