We were celebrating friends 60th wedding anniversary, who live in the area. I drove out from Palm Springs for the occasion. Being from the Cape Cod area I was a little apprehensive about ordering Crab Cakes, however, they were on par to anything on the Cape, fresh, flavorful and delicious. My friends "the locals" and honorees raved about the Prime Rib they split and their son had the Halibut, everything was superb. Our waiter, Josh, who is a member of the family, waited on us and made us feel special. My feeling is he has learned from the family how to treat customers. He went out of his way to provide Mrs. Lee with the special Chocolate Martini that she wanted, even though its not usually served. She didnt think it was that good and didnt want to complain since it was a special request, but I prodded her to let Josh know. He had the drink remade and she was tickled pink. Not too many people I know have been married 60 years (as a matter of fact, the Lees are the only couple Ive ever known to reach this milestone.) Just want to let you know how delighted we were with the overall experience and that the Lees made a pledge, since they live in the area, to have dinner their atleast once a month. I will surly join them on my visits. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Family owned and operated, I believe. High-end old school vibe. Drinks are very over priced, though well balanced for the cost. The food however... house salad was pretty much half a head of lettuce with some shavings tossed in, fries tasted like something I make the kids at home, very "store bought frozen" taste to it. As far as the main item, what I was most looking forward to... the steak. Cooked Med-Rare as requested, but cooked on very high heat and had a horrendous grill char taste on the visually perfectly cooked steak. Past that, there was not much flavor to it, very little blood to come from a med-rare. Eh, Im picky, take a gamble, but make it early. Kitchen closes at 9 or 10, and they sure make sure youre aware when your food comes out... apparently. Cant win them all, I wouldnt go again, but hey, the bar was cool.

I usually like the bar there. Early last night a friend and I stopped in for a drink and watch some football. We both ordered "well" bourbon on the rocks. I gave the bartender a 20 dollar bill and got a dollar change back. 19 bucks for 2 well bourbans..really? When I asked the bartender about it he said they charge more if you order the liquor on the rocks. I was not pleased. Ive ordered "premium" bourbon in other countries where bourbon is an import and have never been charged $9.50. This place charged me $9.50 for a cheap well drink. Funny thing about the location of this establishment. It is located within minutes of countless other places where you would not feel taken advantage of, lied to or ripped off. Next time Ill just go to the Redondo pier get a million dollar view..better liquor and not get conned.

Truly classic old-school family run steakhouse cocktail bar & restaurant. Lamb best Ive ever seen. Hamburger ordered Medium was a true medium, to perfection. Warm sourdough bread with our menus & pre-dinner drinks. Sauteed Garlic Mushroom appetizer great flavor. Nice tender clams in the clam chowder. Egg-battered and planked halibut truly old-school recipe -- the way abalone was commonly prepared -- was delicate catch of day. Booths and mens club steakhouse atmosphere maintained. Wholly great experience. Music too. Good date place. Next time Im betting on a baked potato with my meal.

This is my favorite old school Steakhouse. Big booths and an Antiquated decor peppered with various types of bulls is welcoming and very comfortable. The service is always good and the food usually has several delicious courses. I like to bring people from out of town to this place. There is also a bar that looks fun although I havent hung out there. This place kind of has a lot of old people but I thats something that I enjoy.

Old dark vinyl and wood chairs with wood and mirrors on the walls its like stepping back in time to the 1960s. Hang with the regulars at the bar or have a seat in the restaurant area. The foods not the best but the service is good old fashioned fun. "Honey what can I get for you? Sweetie whatll you have?" They even have a kids menu and coloring books.

Been coming here since I got too old for the pier scene! Great food and atmosphere, super music on the weekends, but the dance floor is REALLY small and when it ocassionally gets invaded by youngsters, they are not bright enough to leave their drinks at the table, so you take the risk of being spilled on!

Great location. Plenty of parking. Absolutely delicious food. I had prime rib and my wife had an 8oz steak. Perfection. Great ambience. Excellent and friendly wait staff. Prices were exceptional. We plan on making this out regular steak house.

Bull Pennnnnnn! One of my happy places. Cheap. Dark. Relatively quiet. The place you go if you just kinda wanna sit at a bar and watch tv or just kind of reflect on a long week. Really good steak and eggs for breakfast too.

Great for a quiet lunch or a busy Friday night, which ever you might need. Happy hour is always great. Looking for a PV cougar, they will be on the prowl on the weekends.
