Pizza was great! Service also! Sad to say a large group of street-looking ppl came in... first a few, to use the bathroom, then rest stood around, then some ordered beers, a couple ordered pizza. Some ordered nothing. They had been standing on sidewalk, taking up space of whole walk, we would have had to walk thru them... so we parked farther on down the blovk. Then they came into Spicey Pie. If I were the owner Id be concerned about loiaing customers. They all left, a few to go outside & dmoke, but eventually all left, before we were finished. Its very sad for downtown Fargo, a nice downtown, to be saddled with this problem of roaming groups, some obviously on something. Even sadder for the ppl themselves, wasting their lived on deadend behavior, life styles. Who pays their way? Its not helping them be productive members of society.

I agree with a previous poster, after being told by so many people how amazing it was, it literally made me throw up a little bit in my mouth. if you like the taste of cheap frozen pizza you know the one with crappy tombstone style sauce, then this is for you. and as far as the staff, theres a difference between interestingly eccentric, and just straight up crack head. i want to slap people for recommending it, i believe they are doing it because someone else sent them there and they spend some money so they pass it along like a practical joke GG spicy pie, i pray that someone capable like your competition sammys takes over your spot

I enjoy going to Spicy Pie on occasion. We usually have a good experience with food quality, and when we did have a bad slice, it was immediately corrected. But the service is rather on the sluggish side, especially during busy times. It is a small sized restaurant (just a bit larger than JL Beers) so if you are coming in with a big group, plan ahead to grab the seats you want, otherwise dont complain or order to go instead. The restaurant does offer a different style of pizza than what many of us are used to. Personally, I like it a lot (especially if you are out bar hopping). Id recommend at least giving it a try.

I want to love Spicy Pie. I honestly do. They have the hip/urban decor, the NY-style pizza, the fantastic downtown location...but the pizza is just bad. Ive tried time and time again to turn my opinion around on this place, but every time I stop in I regret it. The crust is consistently burnt black and the cheese and sauce are practically nonexistent, leaving you with a crispy burnt piece of bread. I hope they retool their pizza because Fargo could really use a great downtown NY pizza joint. But as it is, Spicy Pie is just a missed opportunity for something unique.

People were nice there and it was cool to see the crust being hand made right next to the ordering counter. We ordered on one half of the pizza just cheese and pepperoni and the other half with cheese, pepperoni, green peppers, onions, and jalapenos. The kids enjoyed the pepperoni side but my wife and I loved the other side. The toppings were fresh and the pizza was huge! However, we somehow managed to eat the entire pizza without taking any out in a box. The atmosphere was great and well likely try them again next time we visit Fargo.

It was sad. I was told by SO many people that Spicy Pie was awesome. I got there and I had to order before I sat. Then I had to wait for a table. I finally got a table and then started on my pizza. The extra toppings that I got were warm and tasty. The pizza underneath however was cold. They took already made cheese pizza and added a few toppings. It was a little disappointing. I will Never eat there again and I am hoping that we get a much MUCH better Pizza place downtown Fargo.

I think too many people are expecting a Dominos/Papa Johns/Pizza Hut taste. This is a completely different type of pizza. Its a great, new taste (NY style) for those not familiar with pizza other than the huge food chains. While the customer service is something to be desired, by no means have they ever come off as rude (maybe a bit clueless...). The place has a great atmosphere and other than lunch times (just like any other restaurant), the service is fairly quick.

Earlier this week I stopped in with some friends of mine with low expectations. The staff was amazing they did not hesitate to accommodate myself and my friends. I have been lactose intolerant for several years now making it hard to eat at various pizza chains. I am very pleased to say that spicy pie is not one of those chains. Thank you Rick!!

I stopped in late on night about 20 mons before close and the employees were more than hospitable even though it was so close to closeing time. They took the time to explain the specials and even saved me money though their nightly happy hour. If rick or lane are working you are in more than capable hands. Would strongly recommend to anyone

Love this place. Very affordable with great food and atmosphere. However there are one or two employees that are slow and seem to get confused easily, the rest of the people there are great though. If you do have problems with the service try the spicy pie by ndsu. All their servers are great with the same great food and atmosphere.

Hands down this is my favorite take-out pizza place in Fargo. They have some great classics (e.g., pepperoni, sausage, cheese) and soe good unique ones (e.g, the taco pizza). Order by the slice, or get a giant 18-inch pie. Or check out their oddly connected Mexican / sandwich menu. I dont make the rules here; I just follow them.

Spicy pie is the shiiiiiiiit! I use to hate it because their pizzas were so thin but I gave them a second chance years later and its been amazing ever since! Service is always great, food is delicious, great atmosphere, and kid friendly! Plus, that guy Garrett is as awesome as they come! Come hang out and say hi :)

Normally I would be giving 5 but this trip was nothing but a mess brought burnt knots with no parmasan and said was out of buns for my grinders but then started making then after 20 min. I had to cancel my order and leave hungry, due to time as I had a previous engagement. Will think twice before going in again :(

Stopped in on a Friday night and had an incredible experience. It honestly seemed like the employees enjoyed preforming their job. Most notably rick, joe, and atlee made it a plesant expirenece. 4 stars for the pizza, you get what you pay for their but what really made me give them 5 stars was their staff.

Cheap, non-greasy pizza with only the toppings you like. Huge slices of pepperoni for $1.50 - really? Also, two-for-one slices on Tuesday makes for a great $3 lunch! Employees have always seemed off, but it gives the place character. I guess they dont have a bunch of corporate robots working there.

Im from PA, so I know a good Philly cheese steak and pizza made right, both of which are hard to find in places outside the northeastern U.S. So I was surprised to find pizza this good in North Dakota. I liked the taco salad too (with the shell in the salad instead of the salad in the shell).
