Friends asked us if we liked fish. Yes we do!! Took us here from Camarillo and we are hooked. The fish is clean, delicious cod in a wonderful, crunchy, crispy batter that melts in your mouth. I always order the 3 piece because my eyes are bigger than my stomach. I take some home and heat it up the next day and it is still wonderful. Homemade tartar sauce is the best Ive ever tasted. Fresh salads, tasty dressings, crisp french fries, and mouth watering zucchini sticks. The food is always steaming hot. I have to wait for it to cool down to eat but it is SO worth the wait. I recommend to everyone I know that enjoys fish, this is the place to go

This place is set up like a fast food place (order at the counter and take a seat) but the quality of seafood is fantastic. The clam chowder is excellent. I have had the salmon, mahi, and cod, all were great and cooked perfectly. It may be just a tad pricey, about $10-$15 depending how hungry you are, but I must warn you that the portions are huge. You will definately get your moneys worth. Nice atmosphere and the girls are very nice and helpful.

Was in town with the wife and looking for a good place to eat. Looked up all the reviews for seafood by the beach and nothing stood out. Found Hook, Line, and Sinker and decided to try it. Eating here was the best decision we made! We both got the 5 shrimp, fish, and chips combo and it was awesome! Lunch time gets packed with the lunch crowd, but definitely worth it.

The people were great. The food was ok. It came out to the same price as Woodranch or BJS but the food was not as good overall. The sauce used to season the fish was kind of bland. The shark was frozen and the texture was kind of mushy. If your looking for fish sticks and fries this is the place. If your looking for nice fish I would pass. The Clam cower was good.

there is nothing momentous, noteworthy, nor flavorful about the food. I endured a family meal of fish & fries, with a ceasar salad. It was "blah" to say the least. I suppose it might taste amazing to someone who doesnt cook or doesnt eat quality food. I feel sorry for those who commented that this food was good. You probably dont have much to compare this food to.

I love this restaurant! This was my first time eating here and it did not disappoint. Its family style and the servings are generous. We got the spaghetti and meatballs which tasted like my homemade, so good! The meatballs were HUGE! Also got the Italian soda which I loved but some may think its too sweet. Would definitely eat here again.

Good seafood, mostly fried, cold beer, great prices. Feels like a seafood diner! The Fish and Calamari combo was great. Large pieces, served hot and crunchy. Fries were good too. Didnt care too much for the Lobster bisque however, it was somewhat brown and greasy...more like Lobster gravy.

This is a great restaurant with harbor views. Its not a fancy restaurant. You order at the window and take a number to your seat. The waitress delivers your food to you. The fish is definitely "Sea Fresh" so the restaurant is definitely named for exactly what you get. No fishy smell here.

Before going to Hook, Line and Sinker, i didnt like clam chowder. But after eating their famous clam chowder, i love it! Also this great family restaurant serves fish like salmon cooked to a perfect crisp. If I could, i would rate it over 5 stars. It was amazing!

The food was great! Best Clam Chowder Ive ever had, and Im not exaggerating. The picture is of the Seafood Quesadilla that I had it was good stuffed with lots of cheese and seafood goodies. I will be coming back for sure especially to get more clam chowder.

Good well cooked fish but dirty dirty atmosphere in the beer boxes that the have for decoration old rotten fries were in the boxes . Food real nice but atmosphere bad . Try to be like Lure fish house clean food, clean atmosphere . Service was okay .

The fish and chips combo is hands down the best thing on their menu. Shared a 5 piece combo with the wife, and I have to say its one of best Ive had from either coast. The clam chowder is also good. They also sell fresh fish!

Expensive for the quality. The apetizer plate was really good, with yummy breading, calamari was a little tough. But the tacos werent that great. The fish kind of looked and tasted canned.
