At first when we walked in, it was five stars, then the service was bad. The waitress did not give us enough napikins. She gave 2 napkinks for four people. Thats four stars. Then the waitress was rude. Thats 3 stars. They gave us chicken with no BBQ pork which is what we ordered . When we told her it wasnt right, she didnt even apologize. Instead, she said rudely, " So do you want another one?" Then, before we could even answer, she went to serve another table. They were treating other people nicely and serving them first and left us there to wait 30 minutes. Thats 2½stars. The food was small and very oily. The fried rice was basically swimming in oil. That makes it 2 stars. The water tasted like tap water . 1 1/2 stars now. Then, they wanted cash only. they were already lucky we even paid them and they wanted cash??? 1 stars now. After we were done eating, our stomachs didnt feel good and all of us had to go to the bathroom. It came out diarhea. That is 0 stars. I want to rate it -5 actually. The reason why its called first Chinese bbq is because you go there first, then your not full so you go to find extra snacks at the supermarket. We had to eat extra food. Also, the price was high for like a kids meal basically

The service was terrible and the food did not make up for it. The chicken dish we ordered had a 6:1 water chestnut to chicken ratio and we found it rare to find chicken in each bite. Upon paying for the food, we were told that it was cash only and that they still charged tax. How are we supposed to know that its cash only? Oh right, theres a 5" x 8" sign made out of printer paper and colored pencils at the front desk, a desk that you do not even stop at when you walk in and get seated. The waitress was rude and kept repeating that it was cash only as if it is completely normal to only allow cash. She told my boyfriend to go get money at the atm at the nearby gas station and told me to stay seated. Who do they think they are? It was a given that he would have gone to get cash to pay for it. They should also learn to google the square, since they dont seem to know that it exists. Some people prefer to pay with debit/credit. After paying, no one even said thank you. DO NOT GO HERE! They wont appreciate your business anyways.

My husband, mother in law, and I had dinner here. The food is usually good and better then most other chinese restaurants, but tonight was horrible and we will never go here ever again! I understand weekends are very busy but there is no reason for our food to be raw. The roasted duck was cold and pink so we skipped that and ate the other food since our waitress walked away when i tried to inform her that the duck is uncooked. We bought 5 different dishes and brought home left overs for my other family members. All 7 of us are at home throwing up and having the runs. ALL 7 within the last 2 hours of eating it!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I SET FOOT IN THIS PLACE! IF YOU COMPLAIN THEY DONT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH AND THEY DONT CARE AND WILL NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!! I REPEAT!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!

Was in Richardson for a work trip and was very close to this chinatown area of Dallas. Ive heard lots of good things about First Chinese BBQ from friends that grew up in Plano/Richardson, so my coworker and I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, there were only two of us, so we just ordered some kong xing cai (I thinkkk its called water spinach in english?) and some beef flat noodle (gan zhao niu he). Both were a little on the greasy side and I felt like the noodles werent really that flavorful. In retrospect, we should have order char siu instead. duh, its in the name! So until then, Ill have to leave my review at 3 stars. Overall, service was good, looked pretty crowded during lunch, and theres a small lot. Also, CASH ONLY.

We went to this restaurant today, and I have to give it 1 star. The food was ok, but the service is TERRIBLE! After finishing eating, the lady gave us a check. I gave her my credit card and she said cash only. Luckily I had some cash left in my pocket then I gave her the cash. She starred at me and told me this check wasnt included TIPs. In my thought, I was waiting for my change back then I will tip her. She didnt intend to give me my change back and asked for more TIPs. But as soon as I handed my money to her, she kept asking for tip with a unbearable rude attitude. I WOULD NEVER GO TO THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN!!! AND PLEASE DONT GO HERE FOR BAD SERVICE, TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!! One of the only authenic Chinese restaurants in the DFW area, First Chinese Barbecue is famous for their duck and pork. They have an extremely large variety of food so it is not hard to find something you will like. I have been going to this restaurant for years now and I have never had bad food though the waitresses are sometimes difficult to communicate with due to their lack of english-speaking abilities. I brought some take out to a party and everyone was asking for more. My favorite dishes are the orange beef, the red pork, duck, fried rice, beef flat-noodles, and broccoli and tofu with white sauce.

Service was bad! We went to have lunch and the restaurant was full. We did not have seats so we ordered some BBQ ducks back home, then they have the seats available, so we decided to eat at the restaurant and ordered more items. However, IF YOU ORDER TAKE-OUT, YOU CANT EAT IT AT THE RESTAURANT!!! The waitress and manager rushed to yell at us, "YOU CANT EAT IT HERE UNLESS WE WILL CHARGE YOU $5 MORE PER ITEM". We tried to explained and they kept saying that we couldnt eat there. The ice coffee we ordered has never been served. This place sucks and the staff are arrogant!!! We definitely wont go back :(

If you are looking for a dining experience with wonderful service and a friendly atmosphere this is not the place to go. The service is lacking. It is also very annoying that they only accept cash (no credit cards). With that said, the food is wonderful! The duck is the best you can get in DFW and I love the BBQ roast pork crispy noodle. The food is served family style and the price is good for the portion size. We like to go with a group and order several dishes for the table to share. Everyone I have taken loves the food.

This place is like the soup nazi from Seinfeld. You dont go here for the service. The people that do that and come here and post a 1 star review because they didnt get the service experience they wanted are wasting your time and theirs. You come here for the food. Best to do the takeout. Its cash only so dont forget that. But the stuff is very good! If you are looking to take your wife or gf on a date, take her to one of those Asian fusion places. This is where you go when you just want damn good food.
