Bad restaurant customer relationships... their customers hit my car and run. And I asked for video footage, it turned out the manager said their camera never worked. What the F? I kept calling after the incident and promised me he would ask his technician to pull out the VCR. And after 2 weeks, I personally visited the shop again to try to have clue whats going on, and told me their camera never worked.... fxxk off... you never know your camera never worked? And why you have technician??? ( not making any sense at all) What I believed this Indian manager was lying to me and saved the trouble for his customers ( otherwise he might loss this customer), and his camera is working, and he knew which customer did that, and might be his often visiting customer I believe. Well... legally I cannot force him to hand me the VCR unless I called the police. And, I dont think policy will deal such small thing and I dont want waste the policy resource and especially after a while. Just alert you guys when visiting this place... the parking sucks and this India manager (owner?) I hope if you did not lie to me I apologize but if you did lie to me, and you believe your God, The God knows to deal your dishonor.

No parking spot to start with. The place is very small and one of the serving table was covered with Togo boxes. There were only 4 other tables available and all of them were occupied. No response from the waiter to start with and when we enquired he has no plans to clean up the table with Togo boxes and instead asked us to wait for 15 more minutes. They didnt even bother to give us a menu to start with. I have been to lot of Indian restaurants in the bay and I have never seen such a bad service to start with. I will skip this place until they fix all these issues. They should just do catering if thats what they are good at. Its not a fine cuisine at all! Avoid this place!

The place was crowded when we went and we were expected to walk upto the counter to give orders. EVERYTHING here is very expensive. You get 6 1 inch pieces of kothimbir vadi for $6. Bhajani Thalipeeth was extremely this and just one Thalipeeth for $8. I went with my husband and daughter. We spent $35 for three of us and we were still hungry. On the checkout the guy had auto selected 10% for tip. I am like tip for what? No one even came to the table to take order. The prices are suitable for nice sit-in restaurant. Not the kind of no-service they have. I am not going there again even though it is 2 minute drive from my home and would not recommend.

One day, myself and my wife went here and ordered for lunch meals ... they gave Dal (Lenthils curry) which was super hot. When my wife tasted it, it was completely spoiled and rotten. To suppress the rotten smell , they made it super hot. When we complained to the manager, he tasted it and threw in to dust bin. Later, he offered some other dish for replacement, even that too super hot. We were not able to distinguish the taste at all. Overall, We didnt feel it hygienic and tasty though. It was bad experience for us.

This is best place for Indian food at boundary of Milpitas and San Jose. They offer excellent Marahashtrain food. Vada pav and pav Bhaji is top notch. There are barely any Maharashtrain food restaurant in Bay area, this is best one. They offer great menu. Hope they continue the quality of food and service. It is super crowded. They close at 10pm but the last appointment in the waiting list is taken at 9:30pm. Finding parking is very difficult. Neighbors parking lot can be used at your own risk.

Food quality and taste is amazing. Editing my old review as per the recent experience. Old review: I am still giving 2** for the following... Official closing time is 2:30PM, so we planned to be there around 2PM. We reached there by 1:58PM and were told kitchen was closed. We asked them the closing time which was 2:30PM, he said they have already closed the kitchen. No apologies, and nothing. It was little inconvenient for us as we live little far from the place. Thank you.

They are the caterer of choice for supplying Batate Vada in most Maharashtra Mandal programs in bay area. So definitely dont miss that. Authentic Marathi food with additional options of other Indian food options. Puran poli, shrikhand, saboodana vada or khichadi, kothimbir vadi, thalipeeth and such are the thing you wont find anywhere else. Also heard great things about their Pav Bhaji - though I have not tried that yet.

All the dishes on the menu are what Maharashtrians look for! Starting from pure marathi dishes like batatawada, saboodanyachi khichadi, saboodana wada and thalipeeth to chat to chinese rice and noodles all are available here. Their full meal dishes are also a hit! While the place is small and the wait at times could be long, the food is definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

Sad to say but the quality seems to have deteriorated DRASTICALLY within the past month or so. This place used to offer really tasty food. The owners should take notice and act immediately. The same dishes we used to like which were some of the best until a couple of months ago have suddenly started becoming too oily and the taste/quality has deteriorated too.

The 5 stars is for the food. Its kind of like a hole in the wall Indian place. The pav bhaji is mindblowing to say the least. Reminds you of the killer pav bhaji you get in Mumbai! The misal pav is the real deal as well. The vada pav, kothimbir vadi and usal are also amazing. In all, its the place to go if you are looking for some killer Maharashtrian food!

I am Marathi and I was completely satisfied by "assal marathi" food at Annapoorna. I had Zhunka-bhakri while my husband had Vangyachi bhaji, usal and poli combo. Loved it and we shall continue to visit this place for "gharguti" experience. If you have been to Manohar restaurant in Kothrud, Pune, Annapoorna will remind you of similar taste. Swastha hou de!

Excellent Maharashrtian food. The place is small, so you gotta wait if tables are all full.Service, the unique Maharashtrian menu items, price everything was good. When I told that one piece of brinjal was undercooked, they happily gave some more bhaaji at no cost.Disposable plates, hassle free, very good free chai. Must visit place.

Not sure what everyone is raving about. Im from Mumbai and today I had the worst Pav Bhaji here. The Batata Vada was also cold. I can honestly say one of the worst Indian restaurant. To add misery to it we ended up with an upset stomach and had to go again to another restaurant to have some decent food to get rid of the bad taste.

The only restaurant in Bay Area with amazing Marathi food. Their Batata Vada and Srikhand are awesome! Even other dishes are good. We used them for catering a big religious family event and they rocked it. All guests were happy with food and gave us good compliments about it. Milind and Meenakshi are extremely customer-friendly.

Exceptional place if you like authentic. Maharashtrian food specialities like Sabudhana vada, Kothimbir Vadi, Vada pav, Kolhapuri Misal. They also catered for our Bday Party which was a unique experience for everybody. They are wonderful hosts and we would highly recommend it.
