A small Indian restaurant with decent Interiors and above average Food. This place serves Halal food "proudly". Got a verbal assurance from staff and is mentioned on their menu. Had ordered Cilantro Chicken twice along with Chicken Biryani and Tandoori Sizzler. The Cilantro chicken tasted great the 1st time, but wasnt that good the second time around. The Sizzler is costly, u do get to try a lot of varieties at a little higher cost. Biryani was actually good, surprising to see them pull it off well. Good place to visit for an informal lunch or dinner with friends but not very good. P.S.Though the Buffet might look tempting, but a-La-Carte is a better bet.

Battura was big and might be bit oily (maybe thats how they are supposed to be), choley was bit watery like (which I like rather than very thick however they could add bit more masala/gravyfor making it taste better), Samosa chat just had 1 samosa instead of typical two, Bhel was crunchy so that was good, mattar paneer was ok, Daal in lunch combo is very bland and its black lentils instead of yellow one So overall average and nothing great for 4 or 5

Based on the previous reviews I had very high expectations from this restaurant but unfortunately I am not impressed. Being a vegetarian I tried samosa chaat and spicy kofta with garlic naan and tandoori roti. Samosa chat was just ok. Kofta in spicy kofta didnt tasted fresh and garlic naan was undercooked. They need to improve on both quality and taste.

New restaurant. Vindaloo was not on the menu but they were so quick to accommodate my request and it was delicious! Could use less ginger next time but overall delicious. You need to at least check them out. Dont be deterred by the construction, Im positive once BRT is up and running youll want to check this place out regularly.

We came checking a review of 4+ and for the food we had it was a delicious. Naan was fluffy and light (not dense), kofta was tomato gravy based and was nice. Kadhi Paneer could be spicy but was not. Overall with a 3yr old it was decent food. Consider how much sweet indian American food is, this one was relatively lot better.

They dont serve authentic Indian dish. The utensils are not clean and the taste is not appealing. They added marinara sauce as a gravy for spicy Kofta curry. The tandoori roti was made out of puffs rather than wheat flour. I am thankful that I didnt end up having stomach upset after eating there, thus an extra star.

We found this place after we headed out for Punjab Cafe and realized they were closed. They have a weekly lunch buffet and a dinner buffet which starts at 6:30. It is delicious and very reasonably priced! The flavor of all the foods is amazing! I highly recommend it.

Have been visiting this place once in a while. When they started food was so so tasty, now the quality has decreased a lot. I hope they start making the same type of food as before (when they started). Good news is "The are all HALAL again now".

Website indicates that they are open until 11 pm. At 10 pm they shut down and only had dry rice and extremely dried out Naan in the buffet section. This was my first time here and I am not sure about the quality in day time hours.

Cheap and best Indian food In downtown San Jose! I really love the Paneer tikka masala with the garlic butter naan. Aloo tikki chaat and Samosa chaat are nice and a filling chaat items that deserve a try!

It was really fresh. Nice and clean dining area. They make small amounts but keep filling, so its always hot and fresh. The tandoori was one of the best Ive had, but the rest lacked a certain pizazz.

I was there for the Lunch buffet and it was only $10.95 with soda. The butter chicken was amazing! The nanna was good and it have rice and other stuff. For $10.95 I would go back there again.
