Another hipster treasure waiting to be discovered. The coffee is plentiful & strong, the pastries are hearty & sweet- but not too sweet- & the food is eclectic & delicious. Its the type of space that invites you to come in & stay awhile. Right off the bat, upon looking at the menu, you know you have to try something new & different. If youre a coffee lover & desire something with a kick, go for one of their cold brews, nitro cold brews, or Kyoto iced coffees, which go through like a 16-hour drip process that makes this one of the most potent coffees youll ever taste. If you like yours creamy with just a hint of sweetness, go for one of their Hazelnut Lattes or Bangkok Iced Coffees, which is made with condensed milk, evaporated milk, & a slew of spices like cardamom & nutmeg. Their teas menu is modest, but the quality is up there with the best. The food is just as good, if not better, than the drinks. The Rogue breakfast sandwich made with Black Truffle Pork Sausage, Scrambled Egg, Thai Fried Egg, a Cheddar Crisp slice, & Sriracha-Yuzu Mayo, is one of their most popular items. I think it was aight, but in my book it took the backseat to their amazing fried chicken sandwich called, My Fried Chicken Sandwdich Be Like. (I cant imagine how they were going to finish that sentence). This bad boy is made with Chef Royces Fried Chicken, Cucumbers, a Thai Chicken Dipping Sauce- which is basically a sweet chili sauce- & House Mayo, all wedged thickly between a fluffy Milk Bun. It may be the best fried chicken sandwich Ive ever had. They have other unique menu items like the B.A.E., the Bieber, the Uncle, & other weirdly-named offerings that will make your mouth water despite the questionable titles. And the pastry case does not disappoint, either. With yummy items like Green Tea, Lemon-Blueberry, & Buttermilk-Cream-Cheese scones (my favorite), Chocolate Croissants, Flourless Cakes, & Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies, your sweet tooth will not go hungry here. The area is a bit hidden away; right before hitting Chinatown, theres a little warehouse district on N. Main St., with a black fence right after passing College & before hitting Llewellyn. Parking isnt too bad, & when we came on a Sunday, it as free. In LA, you know thats a big deal. Why the 4 stars instead of 5? Well, you see, theres the prices... But hey, in LA, thats to be expected, too, right? And its damn well worth it!

I cant keep trying everything they have here - especially in one visit... their cold brew coffee has so much flavor. And just when you think its going to go bitter on your tongue, it does a two-wheeled (HARD) right onto smooth avenue. wth... is it the turn or the taste thats giving me goosebumps? And their dirty chai latte... well, youll never order it anywhere else, again! Its like they poured their cold brew down a cinnamon tree, then gave it to you... Im crying... oh, wait! I dont know where theyre getting their croissants, but ... I cant see... too many tears... one day, ima try their kyoto coffee and buttery waffles... its nice in here, too... *sob!*

You will never know this place existed without the help of Yelp. Its hidden in a tiny little plaza that you easily drive by. Parking lot is a bit small, but since its not super busy here, you will still be able to find a spot. The people here are really nice. Its a small mom and pop coffee house, and they make some pretty good drinks. If you dont want anything caffeinated, they have the hibiscus tea as well. They have free wifi here, but its pretty slow. Still, better than nothing. The burger I got was really good though. Had an overeasy egg in it. Noms.

This place is right by the "Asian Costco" LAX-C! So we went here cause we read about their GREEN TEA BRICK TOAST, and it didnt even disappoint! The green tea flavor was prevalent throughout the toast and the ice cream. Right when we got our dish, my girlfriend noticed a strand of hair and asked them to replace it and they did it without any complaints. We also got the thai tea latte, and that was really delicious! This place has its own little parking area, so parking should not be a problem unless it was really packed.

This place is awesome. As soon as you walk in, youre greeted with friendly welcomes, and the people whove already ordered are friendly ad well! The environment is clean and has such a great vibe. This place is relaxing and great music selection ad you wait on your order. And of course, the food is exceptional!!! I ordered the pancake platter, you have to get this!!! Bring your computer, friends, books, or just your dre beats and vibe out. I love this place. Way better then the competition!

Coffee is good, as good as any "good" coffee is expected to be. And expensive, but if all you have at work is tar-like swill in the break room, its worth a visit. The sandwiches, however, really shine, especially the Larb Burger. And thats larb, like the Thai dish, not lard. Minty porky garlic goodness on a bun. An adventure for the palate. Breakfast offerings are nice also, and apparently they now serve waffles.

I havent found anything wrong with this place and i havent seen anybody say anything bad about it either. This is the perfect coffee shop: its super hip, vintage, and unique. I just saw that it expanded and it makes me so happy. You cant go wrong with the coffee and fresh made pastries. The blueberry crumble muffin tastes like pan dulce (Im mexican). Im so happy i found it.

Great, chill vibe and easy going baristas. They serve a couple of local roasters and make a nice espresso! I had a cappuccino which they served classical style, and it was much appreciated. Will definitely be back, especially before or after visiting lax-c.

Beautiful and welcoming cafe, delicious food that often melts in your mouth and filling, yet leaves you wanting more. This place should be the heart and soul of Los Angeles, with its refreshing coffee and complementing food.

I discovered Chimney on accident and Im so glad I did! Fantastic breakfast sandwiches, spinach and parm croissants, scones, etc. Aside from the air conditioning being a bit extreme, the vibe is great. Very industrial chic.

The Chinese chicken sausage tastes like a chinese meal with that spice kick to it. Wish just a plain American chicken sausage. Scrambled eggs tastes also that of Chinese spices. All American breakfast will be really great.

Always nice to have a great coffeeshop near school except their internet is really crappy, which makes studying here difficult. Food choices have improved over time and its a great place to get breakfast or lunch.
