After a day at the beach we wanted a nice meal. When we got there we were told the wait was 5 minutes.. so we cruised around the gift shop a few minutes. We went back to the hostess, who told us she was just waiting for her timer to go off before seating us... that the table was ready but they were trying to space the customers so she set a timer......? We should have left then. We ordered soup of the day and the clam chowder. The tortilla soup was good, the best thing we ate. The clam chowder was "ok" it had a slight herby flavor but the clams were minimal and the potatos had clearly been cooking so long they gave thenchowder a grainy texture. I ordered the fish and chips. Again it was ok. The fish was cut narrow which made it a little dry, the batter was good but the food was barely warm when served. The fish was not moist or tender though there were 4 pieces. The fries were good but barely warm. My first daughter ordered the Caesar salad. It was described as hearts of romain with croutons and anchovies... it was a wedge of romaine drizzled with dressing, 3 croutons, and two anchovies on it. Flavor was ok, dressing it traditional, more like a garlic sauce, and it was scarce. My second daughter ordered the pasta with marinara. Pasta was ok but 3 times the sauce than there was pasta and it was very watery. He meal was also supposed to come with bread however it never showed up. When we asked about it we were told that they had run out, however we saw what looked like cornbread and rolls that were served other people after us... so not really sure. Girls wanted dessert so we ordered a lava cake to share. Not really a lava cake.. more like a chocolate sponge cake with a pool of warm chocolate on it. Not bad but really not as advertised. I expected a warm chocolate cake with a liquid center... the cake was warm but fully cooked all the way to the center and someone had added warm chocolate to the top center. It was ok, but not the decadent dessert expected. unless I was with a group that wanted to go for the beer... I would not bother to go again.

Stunning beer selection. All of their beers blew. Me. Away. That is particularly impressive because they have such an eclectic selection of brews. They obviously put a lot of thought and love into each one. Their creamy, nitro stout Rasputin is the beer that warned me up to stouts, and having it on tap here was a special experience. The tap room itself was small and cozy, with faint jazz soundtrack that provided atmosphere without distracting from my dinner conversation. To top it off, the food was nothing short of incredible. North Coast is culinary luxury without ridiculously inflated costs or snobby attitude. Special thanks to Logan, our server, who added just as much to the experience as the beer, food, and music. He was attentive, knowledgeable, patient and kind. Couldnt have asked for a better server!! Cant wait to visit again

I should have known not to eat here when the locals dont back it. So first, it was pretty disappointing when the first 4 things we ordered they were "out" of. Should have ran then. The service was absolutely horrendous!!! We had to flag her down several times just to get a sprite! I had the pulled pork, that was super dry, and my fiance had the fish and chips. The fish tasted like it was raised inside a nuclear reactor! 1 bite made me gag! The only decent thing was the beer. But the first 2 I ordered they were "out of". Did I mention the service was HORRIBLE!! Like the lady below said, save your money and go to Long John Silvers!

Just left the resturant and was extremely disapointed. We were hoping for the fun atmosphere typically found at a brewing company, especially in a small town, and instead found grumpy slow staff, especially our waitress. It killed the mood. She never even came and checked in us between delivering our food and asking if we were ready for the tab. My food was great but the other food was very dry and had little flavor. Good beer but its available at a lot of other places in town with better service. My recommendation is to have a few beers before you sit down to eat so you can be oblivious of the bad service.

Great restaurant with a friendly staff, quick service and fantastic food! Husband had the calamari which was cooked to perfection, and I had the fish and chips which were undoubtedly some of the best Ive ever had! Old Rasputin is a great Imperial Russian Stout which we greatly enjoyed! We will not hesitate to go back to this Taproom whenever were in Fort Bragg and highly recommend it! Just sorry we missed the jazz!

The beer, obviously, is good. Our server Jess was fantastic. Food was mediocre to good. Garlic waffle fries were excellent, parmesan garlic wings were good, barbecue wings were OK. Came out a little bit cold. We would definitely return here if we were hankering for garlic fries and good beer. The place was just what we needed after being on the road for several hours.

I didnt have any food, but the beer is fantastic. If youre a beer enthusiast, you need to go here (though you should probably be on your way to something else since Fort Bragg doesnt have a lot to offer). The tasting options are delicious, the guys behind the bar are friendly and helpful, and they have stuff on site that you cant buy elsewhere

The reviews are up and down, the service was the best I have ever had anywhere for anything. My girlfriend and I had such a great time that we even tipped at 50% because the service was so awesome. And the food was amazing as well, their steak nachos were a meal by itself. I will surely go back when I am in Fort Bragg the next time!

We went at 2:25 this afternoon and with 2 open tables in the bar and 3 open tables in the dining room with no one ahead of us, we were told there was a 30 minute wait and they would be stopping service at 3, so there was no use in staying. I guess they didnt need our business. Wont be going back there again, thats for sure.

Although My burger tasted like taco meat, the garlic fries were amazing! Drink menu was limited mostly beer and wine.. Beer samples were a fantastic idea! I gave such low stars because I had higher expectations for the restaurant altogether. The experience was mediocre. Prices are too expensive for a mediocre experience.

Visiting for our anniversary, were so glad to have stopped here. The server Jessica was amazing! My husband is a big salmon fan and swears this is the best hes ever had. In the years weve been together, this is the best dining experience wevery ever had. Note to management- promote Jessica!

I never go to a restaurant 2 nights in a row. But we had such a great experience on the first night, that we decided to come back again and were glad we did. The best fish and chip tempura batter ever. Every one of their on tap beers are amazing. Fun place, great food, good service.

Skunky beer, no Wi-Fi, lame service. They chose to lean on alcohol content over flavor, and not providing Wi-Fi for customers is unforgivable. North coast brewing gets an F. Its so bad Im going back to facebook to change my check in, cause I posted it before I tasted that crap.
