We ate lunch there. The food was mediocre and the service was not good. The person who sat us was nice. The guy who took our order was nice, but he never came back to check on us. The other guy who gave us our food saw we needed refills and did nothing. We had to find someone to wait on us. Also one of the drink orders came out wrong, and they charged us for 2 drinks because rootbeer (the original order) only came in bottles. They didnt even tell us that until the bill came. Not worth the money. I dont care if they were busy because of football. They are a bar with big TVs for watching football. Theyre supposed to be busy.

we walked from the state park with our dogs and were welcomed right in( dogs hung out on the back patio, rib bones served to them by a keen employee!). Tuesday is rib night and it was well worth it! We shared a pitcher of beer, ribs, the best calamari (ever). The weather went downhill and one of the employees offered us a ride home with our THREE dogs. Pretty awesome for a random Tuesday in March. Also, as were from B.C. (canada) the lack of tax and reasonable pricing made this spot a great option.

Wife and I stopped by to order a couple fish sandwiches to go as the clientele was pretty rowdy for 1pm on a Sunday. You can tell they make their money selling very expensive beer over the food which unfortunately Ill never know if it is any good or not. When we asked to order out we got "Im sorry sir we actually dont do take out orders on the weekend" Oh really? Fine with me San Dune Pub. Well just avoid your establishment when staying in Manzanita.

The service was probably the best Ive had in any restaurant. Multiple employees kept checking up with us to see if we needed anything, but not so much that it was annoying. Food came out super quick and very hot. The price of the food was great for what you get. I got the oyster basket ( fresh local oysters, fries, and a large serving of coleslaw) and it was delicious! I will be back again! (must be 21 or older to go in.)

I come here frequently to drink a beer or 2 and have an appetizer. This time I ordered dinner and was completely thrown back! I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich for 12 bucks and ithe was small and came with chips. I can afford to eat a 25 dollar dinner every day but I couldnt believe how cheap the restaurant was. Ive been an area local, my whole life and cannot believe that we would do this at a coastal restaurant.

Our experience was similar to many of the other reviews. We ordered a Cobb salad and a seared fish salad. I was impressed by the freshness of the lettuce and cole slaw. The cod was mediocre, no flavor and a bit tough. The onion rings were outstanding, crisp, light and flavorful. The service was friendly and efficient. The ambience casual, good for families. Manzanita is beautiful,

The only actual bar right in town, you can get good beers here and the waitresses are pretty friendly. Mostly full of older folks and definitely on the weekends, but you can run into some locals (who are typically older anyway) and younger Portland types on busy nights. Theyve got a live band about every Saturday and a nice beer garden out back where you can smoke.

Good bar food overall. Really good service. Sitting by the wood stove was very enjoyable. Loved the oyster burger. Coleslaw was the only really bad thing (waaaaaay too sweet). Oyster shooters seem to be really popular. They were fresh and overall OK, but theyd be better if the cocktail sauce wasnt congealed in the shot glass from being prepped hours in advance.

we loved our lunch. my husband had oyster basket and i had oyster burger. i can still taste the crunch of biting into that juicy oyster.we are at netarts now and i ask everyday to go back to manzanita and have those perfectly fresh crunchy juicy oysters. cant wait to come back and eat at your pub.5 stars for sure. good service, good beer.thanks so much.

Its the only game in town for a pub. They have OK food and OK service. Perfectly acceptable, but you wouldnt seek this place out if there were many competitors in the area. With said, you have to go to San Dune when you are Manzanita, and it will provide you a typical beach pub atmosphere and typical beach pub food (with an emphasis on oysters.).

Near the beach. Good beer list and food. Fish and chips were done right. Prices are a little higher than I would have expected walking into the place. The layout is somewhere between a tavern and a pub. That is the feel I got walking in. Plenty of HD TVs and people were gathering to watch a soccer match. friendly staff.

In on a Thursday night before Memorial day and not too busy. Service was fast and friendly. Burger was awesome. Onion rings were better than average. Buffalo wings were the best Ive ever had. Good microbrew selection and all reasonably priced. Oh, and the peanutbutter pie was as good as my grandmas. A+

Highly recommend this restaurant! Great food although I only ate the oyster basket because I lucked out the first night when ordering the restaurant has great customer service and the environment has a cozy sports bar feeling lots of local environment wish it was closer to frequent! Great job crew!

What a wonderful place! I wish I could give you more stars! Had the best hamburger ever and some lemon drop drinks to die for! I had to ask for the recipe for the drinks! My sister and our cousin and I will never forget this place and the wonderful time that we spent there! Thanks for the memories!

I like the tavern atmosphere, but the food is just so-so. Chowder is quite tasty, as are the fries. Tuesday night BBQ rib special is worth the trip. Overall, its pretty expensive for mediocre food, but sometimes eating in a bar is just what I want. Its tough to find a good burger out here.

If you like a dark bar atmosphere with tvs all over the place and a little bit of video slots/poker fun, youll love this place. Saturdays there is live music with a cheap cover charge. Very busy in the summer get there early in the afternoon if you want to get a favorite seat.

Nice laid-back atmosphere. Its a pub with a surfy vibe that has a great tap selection, good food and friendly service. I went there a few times during a trip to Manzanita last September and will be back when I return to visit this awesome little beach town again.

It was fine. Just fine. Asked for a to go order and was told "we arent doing to gos today we are to busy...". So I followed up with "can I get a turkey club and a box please" and the answer was "yes"! Odd hoops to jump through but it all worked out in the end.

Pretty good pub fair. Went there twice during our long weekend to manzanita. Between the two of us we had the smoked salmon chowder (excellent), Polish dog, chilli cheese fries (yum) & fish & chips (good but only 3 for $16). Overall a good experience.
