I stopped in for breakfast with my young son, on a weekday about 11am. I was hoping for lunch, but they start lunch service at 12pm. My son is a maniacal destroyer of sanity....my sanity. He decided to go full 4yr old, but the staff grabbed a kids activity book, some crayons and really saved me from the full force of his maddening jabber talk. We ordered the breakfast sausage platter. It was ok. Just ok. That being said, their breakfast menu attempts to approximate the stereotypical American breakfast...just with some Bavarian touches like potato pancakes, brats etc. Their lunch and dinner menu appear to be far more authentic, and I was assured by the staff (after they saw my less than convincing happy face) that lunch and dinner are home cooked German goodness. Now, its absolutely necessary to mention their beer selection. Its fantastic. Go there, drink the beers, skip breakfast and order lunch. The staff is great, the beers are great, the place is clean and nicely appointed inside. When I have an opportunity to try their lunch and dinner menus I will update this review.

We were excited to try it, being a new place and the only Germen style restaurant in town. Unfortunately not worth a second visit! Not impressed. Cheese sauce for the fries was thin and gritty. Preshredded cheese maybe? My husband had the currywurst and it was just that. The worst! A non house made sausage with a sauce made of catchup and curry powder. Mainly just drowned In catchup. The cornedbeef on the rubeun was old and hard. We knew this before they served it since the kitchen is open and we could hear them talking about our food. Also, if you advertise as being kid friendly maybe have a kid menu..? Just a thought. And if you decide to have an open kitchen, watch what you say, your patrons can hear you.

This place is awesome! As a personal lover of German culture, or anything German for that matter! The atmosphere is very comfortable, with some simple Bavarian decorations, comfortable family friendly pub feel. The food is amazing! If you order a burger, you gotta get it on the pretzel bun, I cant describe. And the patty is juicy and very well seasoned, I would season everything that way if I could! And last of all, the staff are very friendly! Drinks are refilled quickly, the food comes quickly as well, and they will speak to you in German if you can. Great place.

Im no German food expert but this was great German food. I had wiener schnitzel with spaetzle and cabbage the first time and I was pleased. My wifes jaeger schnitzel with spaetzle was better with an awesome savory mushroom sauce. Homemade pretzel and beer cheese was okay but the German beer selection is top notch, they know their beers. Second time in was bratwurst and pommes frites. Live music, pool table and friendly staff. Maybe a bit to much of a laid back feel for my taste but I enjoy going here. I gotta get one of those wiener shirts!

This was just horrible, we where so exited to try this restaurant what a let down, the curry wurst was swimming in grease the schnitzel had no seasoning on it, part of it was burned, the gravy was a white country gravy with wine. Im German and know what it should be like. Then there was a German guy playing pool , he was obnoxiously loud and drunk at 1 pm in the afternoon. We thought we where being punked, but no my friends this was for real. Never will go back, this place gives Germany a bad name.

Waited over an hour after we got our drinks, no salad, no nothing. When I asked about our salads, the waiter came back and asked what we had ordered, when I told him, he had lost our order. Not going back. What ? You want us to wait another hour before we get our salads and meal? The table next to us got their meal before they got their appetizer, guess that should have told me something.

I was born and raised in Germany and this was like a little piece of home. The owner is from Germany and knows what she is doing. Our waitress was super friendly and we enjoyed playing pool while we waited for food. Europeans dont do fast meals, so plan to take your time. Service wasnt slow by any means but it was leisurely. Have a beer and enjoy the company!

Pretty much a hole in the wall place. The food is good and they have great beer on tap (including German beers). Its just a little strip mall type shop, in a crummy location, but its right on 101 so its easy to find. The service is very friendly, but not super speedy, so be patient because the food is totally worth it. Prices are about average.

This little restaurant is where you can eat wiener schnitzel like Oma used to make. Have a craving for spatzle and cheese? Bratwurst with crisp saurkraut? You are in the right place. Reasonably priced with attentive service, every time I have been there I have been transported out of the coast to Deutschland. Please go there and give it a shot.

The wiener schnitzel is amazing with white wine gravy. The cabbage rolls are equally amazing. The ultra authentic German beer selection is very good. They played a good selection of German music from kraut rock to German electronic. Super cool! All Heil Germany! Heil victory!

Absolutely authentic and personable. Never had german food before and it was fresh, comforting and unique, most importantly from an authentic german immigrant owner who takes pride in making connection between her outstanding food and customers. #autobahn101

One of the best Reubens I have had, they also carry some unique beers that I have never had before, very delicious. The don burger is also a must try for those who like Huge burgers, came with a burger patty, fried egg, and schnitzel patty.

Poor quality of food, meats were tough and some things were served cold. Apparently from reading other favorable post there is a lack of consistency which is very important in the restaurant business.

Excellent service, friendly people and fantastic real German food! It is much bigger inside than it looks and very brightly lit with a great ambiance. Definitely a great place for families.
