I love the 101 Diner. I meet people there for breakfast frequently. But I just had a really bad experience with a couple that brought their two dogs that were constantly barking. I mentioned to two different waitresses that it was loud and obnoxious, but they chose to let the barking go on. I was meeting my brother who was visiting from out of town. It ruined our breakfast. First of all, it is not sanitary to have dogs in the eating areas. But beyond that, people are selfish to ruin the experience for others because they put their dogs 1st and ignore the fact they are negatively impacting the experience of other guests. The restaurant ownership needs to better train the employees for how to handle these types of situations. Simply to ignore the disturbances and let one couple ruin the breakfast of all the other guests does not make sense. I dont like to see dogs in the eating areas, but even if one is going to allow dogs, there still needs to be a standard when a dog starts barking. I would suggest the Manager come to the table of the dog owners and ask them to remove the dog(s) if they are disturbing others. It is not acceptable to warn the people, because the people have already ignored the fact their dog (s) were negatively impacting others. This was the worst experience I have ever had at 101 Diner.

You can expect to get some things when you come here. 1) Breakfast that you can be proud to show off, but are more excited to eat , 2) A friendly staff that offers great recommendations and banter, 3) Lots of locals, a good sign as far as Im concerned. The milkshake is tasty and comes with the classic side metal tin of the overflow. The sirloin steak salad is huge. I think there was a half a cow and a whole head of lettuce in the bowl. The corned beef hash was outstanding. Brunch for the two of us was about $25. Not bad for the steak salad, hash, milkshake, and a soda. We sat at the bar and didnt have a wait at all. But if you want to sit at a table, busy weekend mornings could lead to some extended waiting times.

Love this breakfast spot, quick service, usually a wait for a table on the weekends or after 9am so show up early. Sitting at the bar is my favorite way to dine so we can watch the chef make our breakfast right there and the staff is prompt with the coffee and water. The benedicts are awesome as well as the waffles and acai bowls. Never had a bad breakfast there and have been back several times. You can order a half breakfast, but it is better to bring a friend and just share.

Through our Trip we visit a couple of Diners. Basicly for Breakfast. This one we can recommend. Its tasty, clean and the Environment give a modern feeling. + Tasty huge Omlets + Environment + clean + Inside and Outside Tables - no Parking spaces - coffee is not included - we have meet more frindly waitress (the Diner was Full)

It is our favor place for breakfast in the area. We came here so many times and experienced different items on the menu. We have not found an dish that we did not like. Will cone back again and again. And very friendly and helpful staffs.

Great local diner offering a variety of breakfast/lunch. It gets busy quickly but seating available inside, out back, and along the front sidewalk. I recommend the chorizo scramble with tortillas.

Im not sure why the açai bowl is the photo they use, but the eggs benedict are to die for, especially the crab cakes benedict. Ho-made hollandaise makes all the difference.
