Check your money you get back my meal was 21 dollars and I put down 2 20s clerk ID 28 (didnt get her name) gave me back 9$ she also didnt give me a receipt so I couldnt check and see how much my meal actually was but gave my other friends theirs. Come to find out I asked her where my money was and it was in the pocket rolled up to the size of a straw smashed down at the bottom. Im usually a really good tipper 20-30% usually. I left and she got no tip.

I actually liked the sushi until I had the worst customer service experience of my life. They asked me to my face if I was going to tip them. Two of the employees repeatedly made rude comments about me to each other while I was in hearing range. I asked the one who was ringing me up if I could speak to a manager and he just said no. I then asked why and he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. If I could rate them a 0 then I would.

Mediocre, but Ive had some pretty good sushi from all over. Lunch specials are decent. Nice place only it felt a little crowded(chairs were too close together) it felt a little claustrophobic. The menu was a little too long for me, there is such a thing as too many choices but overall experience was good wait staff was friendly and attentive.

Been here since opened owner owns ones on 82nd and more in new mexico, ect. I sit at front of chefs and I always get great service and fresh fish comes at end of week. And the drinks are good powerful, I got 170k views in lubbock alone in 4 months w handful of restraunts hayashi is great for me!

Nothing wrong with the service, they were very attentive and timely. Sushi was well below par, Hayashi on 82nd or Market Street on 98th is still my favorites for sushi. The fried rice was rather bland and very oily. The chicken was the best part of the meal and even it was way over peppered.

Brandi was the server at 11:00. She did an excellent job asking for appetizers and helping me understand what different appetizers had. She was prompt checking up on our table. Brandi asked for desserts and explained the dessert menu very thorough. I definitely will be coming back.

This was our first time here, and it is hands down the best sushi and hibachi in lubbock! Everything is so fresh and prepared with professionalism. Service was great and the place has a really cool, relaxing atmosphere! We will definitely be back!

We had a group of about 20 on a Saturday after a graduation. We were seated and served right away. Food was great, service was great. The only complaint was the small size of the calamari appetizer. Other than that, great experience.

My neighbor brought me here for lunch. The food is fresh and delicious. The service by Michelle was exemplary. The prices are about half of what I expected. (Im from Dallas) Will definitely be back and recommend it to others!

If you want to get sushi in Lubbock, this is probably the best bet. Service can be slow over lunch, so plan accordingly. Dinner service was great.
