Let me say this up front-- we have been going to Spires forever. Im biased and were regulars. Ask yourself the following--- 1. Do you want a good meal at a reasonable price? 2. Is the meal more important than a snazzy décor? 3. Is it important the meal is actually cooked there on site vs. the portioned controlled microwave warm up garbage of a Dennys or Applebees? 4. Do you want breakfast for dinner? 5. Do you wanted to get a sit down meal and be treated with respect and welcome by the servers and managers vs. being treated like the next tip? Or how fast can they turn over a table? 6. Do you need to quickly check your email and catch the news while youre being served? 7. Do you need to get a bite to eat before or after going to the Ontario Convention Center, Ontario Airport, or Ontario Mills Mall? If so, Spires is the place for you. Spires in Ontario is a real American Dinner without all the fu-fu BS of the latest Food Network Restaurant Rookies trying to enter the market. This is a local family owned group of restaurants that keep the cash in the community and cares about the customer. At Spires 90% of the food is prepared fresh. The rest are standard deserts and goodies they bring in because "we" the customers like them enough to buy them frequently. So we get it. This isnt the Cheesecake Factory, and on behalf of the "Regulars," we are glad they arent-- so please dont come in with an attitude and disrespect these good folks trying to making a living for themselves and their employees. They serve good food, good coffee & drinks, great deserts and will be thrilled to box up a to go order if you need it. Oh yes if youre eating lighter, they have Senior and Kids Menus. The menu is standard diner fare-- but they do have a few things on the menu that are memorable: The New York Steak compete dinner for $12 beats the hell out of Norms these days. The Fried Zucchini sticks (more like sticks,) are homemade and are excellent. Their Mediterranean Salad and the Mediterranean Omelets (I add bacon or ham,) are out of this world. If you want a good bowl of soup, with a Club, BLT, Patty Melt or Tuna Melt, this is your go to place. Oh if your Sweet Fang is hungry-- try the pies or the carrot cake. They are delicious!

This is a basic coffee shop except in the area of service. The waitress staffing the place looked and acted really bored with her job. The place was not too busy on the morning I ate there, but I still had slow service and watched my breakfast sit under the heat lamps for 5 minutes while the cook was ringing his bells for her. Is it really that big of a mind stretch for another member of the staff to realize the importance of serving food while its hot. Not sure what is to blame here: poor pay, poor training, poor management, or all of the above.

We always come here when we visit from Florida. I would have given them 5 stars but when my husband and I ordered take out tonight, I forgot to leave a tip and went right back in to leave one. When I asked for the receipt I was shocked to see that the night manager had taken it upon himself to add a $12.00 tip to my $20.00 order. That is so wrong to do to people, especially when that was my third time eating there in 2 days spending $70.00. I am monitoring my bank account and encourage everyone to do the same when visiting this place.

I had a bad experience with A Spires I visited near LA so I never gave this one a fair chance until today. I wish I had sooner. What great experience I had from a great and friendly server, to that fast service it getting my meal, to the quality of the food. If youre tired or going to the same places and wanna try something new, then please come & give Spires a chance, worth every penny to the already affordable prices.

The service here was exceptional. From the waiter to the bus-boy, they seemed to work as one. The food was hit when it came out, which was another plus for me. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because we ordered breakfast, the food was mediocre at best. There are other things on the menu I would like to try. My husband and agreed wed come again if our regular places were too crowded.

Ate lunch 9/29/14. Service and food quality was outstanding. Amount of food was great. Drove here from Oklahoma 3 times this year and flew once, have spent 75 to 80 days in So. California eating out and by far the best I have had. Leek potato soup was a first for me and the best soup of any kind I have ever had. Will always eat here if I am in this area. Gary

Free wi-fi, prompt service, and quick food. What more could you possibly want from a diner? Huge flat-screen TVs with subtitles? Check. Massive display case full of cakes? Double-check. My teammate and I meet here for business every month. We both bring computers and phones and connect quickly and easily while we eat tasty brunch and drink iced tea.

amazing food! very creative dishes. the service is flawless and with personality. the ten course choice is not as filling as other tasting menus so dont be afraid to go for it. we also loved the blind tasting approach. we did not know what we were getting until it came and did not receive the menu until we left. do it!!

We were told to arrive at 5:00 pm for a seat at the high table at the front and we were seated successfully. However, it was somewhat disconcerting to watch three other parties who ordered after us receive their meals before we did. The food was excellent, but 45 minutes was an excessive wait for even the best meal.

Food is good and staff is always friendly. I always go during the week. The only thing I wished they changed the way they made the home fries. They shouldnt add other things to it. They should leave the home fries plain. The omelettes are a little overcooked. But you should request that they dont overcook them.

Although I have simple taste (diners and cafes) the filet mignon was absolutely delicious. My family and I went for the first time on Thanksgiving. The atmosphere was comfortable, a little on the older side, but very comfortable. The prices are a bit steep, but the quality of the food does match the cost.

Its cheap eats, and decent quality. Good bargain. Regular daily specials Mon through Fri (includes drink and dessert). Added daily specials are posted. Senior discount. Friendly service. Many regulars. Breakfast is best bargain. Can get busy on Sunday morning and when conventions in town.

Our family of 7 went for Buffet - dinner at Masala Bites on Sunday. The food was awesome, the desserts were perfect, the service was great and the ambience super. We all had a great time. Our 6 year old grand daughter loved being there . Over all a great experience. Highly recommended.
