I am so put off and upset by this place. The waitress was very sweet and did her best, but when we ordered vegetarian versions of the dishes (just asked not to include the meat) the chef refused. The excuse was that they were "too busy" but there were only 4 other tables there. The waitress then asked me to order it anyway and then "pick out" the meat. Are you KIDDING ME? I am so disgusted that a restaurant couldnt just not include the meat in a dish. The place was super dive-y anyway. I felt like i was in a soup kitchen or a dining hall. The starter dishes (banchan) were terrible- just 2 options and some crappy salad. Although I must note that their kimchi was quite good. I strongly advise that you go somewhere else!! There is a cute Korean place nearby in Providence called Teriyaki and Korean House that makes your food to order and the establishment is MUCH nicer with similar prices.

Great atmosphere and service but the food itself needs improvement. I had a sea food pancake which mostly had scallion and nothing else to be found. The pancake batter itself was quite bland but dipping it in the sauce makes it overly salty. It was frustrating. The seafood soup noodle was also a little frustrating. The noodles were mushy and the soup wasnt very rich. I mostly tasted salt and spicy. Fortunately, the clams and octopus were fresh and delicious. My wife and friends had a better experience with seafood tofu soup and hot stone bowl rice.

Quick service but spicy seafood soup was not very satisfying. The soup left a bit to be desired. Flavor and heat level was great but the muscles were so so but there wasnt very many; the shrimp and octopus/squid was very tough and over cooked. I also would have liked to have more noodles and less veggies as there was a lot and they give even more on the side. Id definitely go back to try the sushi at least once as it seemed thats the main staple but I definitely wont try that soup again.

First time. I had the Sura Special Combo Bento. Not modified for americans. I am always leery about eating Asian food outside a major Asian area i.e, Koreatown in Flushing Queens. Next time I will have the Jjigae. Only four stars since I have not tried other menu items. I only evaluate food. Decor has no taste.

Kind, warm, efficient, talented and tasty. Thank you for heating me up and offering a clean and peaceful space to do it. Sushi chef has quality fish. Korean stew and raw kimchi before was better than any Ive had before even in NYC. Hope they continue to see success.

I am obsessed with the dumpling soup they serve here. Its like no where else. Very original and so good. Generally quick to serve and usually no or a very minimal wait. They also have bento box lunch specials which are cute with good lunch serving sizes.

Would like to come back to try some of the hot food- menu wax extensive. We had variety of salmon rolls and the Providence roll. Loved all 3. Nice to have been greeted with hot tea on a cold winter night. Nice touch!

Food was decent but unfriendly and I was there for an hour and while staff was eat they never came to table to ask if I was doing ok ..... very poor will not return. .... one good thing about it it was very clean

boy that was delicious. that bowl of fresh raw fish, that house made pickle, ginger and mmmm mmm. what a wonderful meal so varied and special. it all started with the marvelous miso. magnificient.

Grabbed some apps before a show. Service was friendly and accommodating. The dumplings were delicious steamed and my wife enjoyed the spicy lobster sushi roll.

On the pricey side, but food is good. The Korean bbq dishes are tasty as well as many of the soups. The portion sizes are decent for sharing with two people.

OK Korean food at the best location. Pricy. If I have 20 more minutes, I would go to Sun&Moon in East Providence to have the quality Korean Food.
