Buried in Dublin and looking somewhat unassuming from the outside you wouldnt guess that this is the hidden gem that it is. We havent come here terribly often but every time we do we have good food and great service. Back in the 80s this was basically the only restaurant in town and its decor definitely feels like an 80s diner. The good news is that the prices match the decor so you are paying much less than you might at another restaurant. My lady ordered the huevos rancheros and she loved it and I ordered a pancake breakfast that came with 2 eggs, bacon, and 6 good sized pancakes. We left quite full and paid less than $30. The kid serving us was very polite and helpful and when we ordered coffee he let us know that the coffee that was there was there from the morning so he was making a fresh pot for us. They serve breakfast all day but they also have other stuff on the menu. One day I swear I will actually try something else but I just enjoy their breakfast so much I never get around to ordering anything else.

What can I say, this place is home cooking with a price anyone can afford. I have heard some complain they are expensive. But those people must be trying to compare the prices to a fast food place like McDonalds or something? Because if you think for less than $10 bucks with tax included you can get a huge breakfast and beverage is expensive, then you need to stick to the dollar menu at McDonalds! lol. As a response to Beneyna, the owner owes your friend $20? Are you serious? What kind of services can you get for $20? Thats too funny! Seems more like you are a disgruntled employee or something like that. You only have 2 reviews and they both claim someone scammed you. Give me your address and I will send you the $20 bucks. lol

The foods is just ok, theres this guy that walks around the place like he owns it, I think his name is "richard head"? Hmmm? He turns his face up when he walks around from table to table looks like he is judging families and does nothing to help except take your money before you go. My family used to love this place, wed go all the time way back to eighties. I guess the owners dont care or maybe the commandant does own the place - in that case I understand why its the way it is.

The service was excellent. Got seated right away, got our drinks quickly and the food came out pretty fast. The restaurant looks nice, your basic sit down diner. The food was good, hashbrowns nice and crispy, the toast was so tasty. I had eggs with ground beef and spinach, the ground beef almost overpowered everything else, so maybe a little less of that, but otherwise very good.

Was at the Copper Skillet in Dublin, CA for brunch today at the recommendation of a friend whom I was with. We both had Chicken Fried Steak and coffee. The food was good but the waiter did not once asked if I wanted a refill on my coffee and water. If I was a waiter, I would make that a priority. Needless to say, my tip reflects his service. A cozy, quaint little joint I highly recommend for anyone with a breakfast craving! Awesome Skillets!!! Also try their eggs and country potatoes!!! I havent tried the other non-breakfast food there so I cant make a comment on that, but why would someone go to a skillet place and not have breakfast?!?!?!?

Hit and miss with their menu. We have had delicious scrambles here but also some very overcooked fried chicken with waffles and sandwiches with WAY MORE mayo than was necessary. Staff is always friendly and attentive and their prices are fair for what you get.

I went for breakfast on a Saturday and evidently it wasnt the best time to go...it was packed!! The waitress took our order once...then twice....and still came back with the wrong food, which wasnt all that!! Wasnt a good first experience...

So-so bland scrambled eggs with a puny Linguisa sausage. Presentation lacked quite a bit. Waitress was attentive and professional yet slow to take the order. Failed to meet what I expected from prior reviews...
