Awful, just awful. Food was completely tasteless. Pancakes were dry and felt like I was eating cardboard. Husband ordered a panini. The bread was hardly toasted and the cheese wasnt even melted. Soda was sour. Even ruined the bacon... How does that even happen?! Clearly people were paid off to get this restaurant to 4.2 stars.

If I ever move away from New York, Ill miss diners like this one the most. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, weve been here at 2 am after a show in the city and at 2 pm for breakfast. The menu is huge, the food is tasty and the service is quick. There is a full bar here and they have specials all the time.

Excellent service with a smile. The Dutchess Diner is a landmark located directly accross from the Galleria Mall, perfect for Breakfast before shopping or lunch in-between or dinner after. Expect a small but well sorted fresh salad bar, daily specials and full menu to satisfy your hefty apitite.

This place was nice. I felt like time slowed down for a bit and I was transported to a place where I didnt have to rush anymore. The lady that waited on me was super nice and made sure that all was well. I got pancakes and eggs with mint tea. I will definitely visit there again.

Diner was empty and there was more staff than tables at that time but service was horrible. 45 minutes of no refills or service just to be told the food would be out "in a few". Two meals were mediocre and 2 was not edible. We should have left after the long wait.

Overall,food is very good,would be nice if owner changes the specials on the 2 for 25.Variety is the spice of life,and looking at the same specials for months is very boring.I also think think there can be more lunch specials also.

Very good diner. a good part of the trifecta of good diners in Poughkeepsie, the acropolis diner and the Palace diner. Great food and service. average diner food and prices, all of which are reasonable.

The staff is friendly. The cheeseburger is juicy and has flavor. The fries were ok, the cole slaw and pickle were not edible. The chocolate milkshake was like a glass of solid ice cream.

Generally...I rate a restaurant by how a grilled cheese sandwich tastes and prepared. Okay...they do it perfectly. Our server..Ray...good guy. Oh...large great pickle.
