The restaurant was not busy at 4:45 p.m., there was still a wait for a party of 10. Ive heard great things and so I had high expectations. The server was fair, somewhat in a daze? It really seemed he would rather be somewhere else. "What are your soup selections for the day?", his reply, "I honestly have no idea". The food came out staggered, it took a bit longer towards the end of the party. The food was fair, they served my California burger without avocado, and the fries were extra crispy. Another in our party received her California burger with two bottoms and no top bun??? Another in our party asked for shredded lettuce (like on tacos) not the salad mix with cabbage and carrots on his hamburger salad. Apparently.... Someone dropped the ball because the request was forgotten. Its the little things that add up and take away from a pleasant dining experience. It seemed nobody wanted to be at work. If there was a manager present in the restaurant, they never made an appearance. Honestly wasnt impressed.

Not a good experience here. First time coming here, and probably wont be back anytime soon. There were problems in the kitchen, nobody was getting their food. We waited at least an hour for ours. We were just getting up to leave when the food came. Fries were limp and soggy. I had the gobbler sandwich (turkey, cranberry sauce, avocado, tomato) avocado still had some skin on it. I was expecting actual turkey, not the sliced stuff you get in the package at the store. My friend had gotten real turkey on her sandwich. The cranberry sauce was good, and pulled the sandwich together, it just needs improvement. Had a nice, friendly waitress. But the manager was "unavailable". Heard from other guests that theres been a long wait-time since this place has opened. Disappointed overall, might come back when the kitchen has their s*** together.

First time here was good. Pancakes are yum. BUT!! Second time was we waited 55 minutes for our food!!! Took 45 minutes just get a refill on a cup of coffee after I complained to the manager. The food came out cold. We asked for fresh buscuits and gravy; they microwaved it. The country potatoes were greasy from sitting. The pancakes were crispy on top from sitting. They at least brought another batch of fresh fries out. Then the bill came....no discount after ALL that! I have no intention of returning. So disappointed.

Long wait for service. Long wait after food was ordered. Ordered the Tri Tip Dip sandwich with garlic fries. Meat was over cooked and tough; french fries also over cooked and tough. Friend ordered Wild Alaska Salmon. It was so pale or white, we were trying to figure out what kind of fish it was. Also overcooked! Did not see our server after we received the check. Most Black Bear locations are far better than this one!

Walked in to a mostly empty resteraunt, and was told itd be at least 10 minutes before she could seat us (4) I asked about all the empty tables intermixed with occupied tables, and she said the server was on break for that area. Thats the most disrespectful lack of proper customer service I have ever witnessed at a black bear. Highly disappointed.

Worse service ever. Food ok. Didnt ever see the server for our table. I had to find someone to get our order got the food and drinks and that was it no more contact not even to bring the bill. I had to go to the register for the bill. Where is a manager? Dont know.

Horrible, sat there for 15 minutes before I was asked if I wanted anything to drink and the person wasnt even my waiter. Then 30 min for a waffle, I just walk out and the woman who took my order watched me walk out..... Ill never go there again

Great service and friendly atmosphere. Good place to sit down with friends and no rush on dinner. Prices are reasonable and tasty with large portions of the meal. Most people have to get a box to take home leftovers.
