We ordered take out and they gave our order to the wrong person. They called and asked the person to bring the order back for us! They werent going to cook us a new order and had us wait until some random person walked back in off the street with "our food." After we pressed for a new order they obliged and made it tight. One star for thinking its acceptable to let a stranger walk out with food and return it for someone else.

Ive been going here for years - I grew up in Singapore eating Indian food and this place takes me back! FYI, the buffet is only for lunch. For dinner they have a very large menu with anything you could want and no buffet. Ive had most things on the menu and I loved them all. You can also ask them to make it more or less spicy, depending on your preference. Just excellent food. Everyone Ive taken there has loved it!

I had used this place to have food last year and found fantastic. As being and Indian I can justify the taste and quality of Indian food. But, this time when I had lunch with my friend, we all got stuck. there was no taste of Indian in an Indian restaurant ! ! ! I wish, if I could go to some chinise restaurant or itallion food.:(

I have eaten at a variety of Indian restaurants all over the US while traveling and this was my worst Indian restaurant experience. First of all. The place was not very clean. The bathroom was as dirty as an interstate gas station. The chicken saag I ordered tasted like old chicken with a can of cream spinach thrown on top.

I love the platters here. The Chai is the real deal. Great curry dishes & Nan. The tandoori chicken is the best around town. Its hard to find a good Indian restaurant that doesnt run up the a la carte costs. The biryani is hot & tasty but not too spicy. Great food & service found here!

so good! I have been living out of state for 3 years now and I have not found comparable indian food anywhere! best naan, and i dream about their chicken bhunna! When I come to the bay area to visit my family this place is my first stop!

Just tried it. The only good thing I can say is that the place has no rodents or roaches (& not that I was looking too hard - I was busy trying to get out of there). It is cheap, as in bad quality, not as in good value. Avoid!

Bengan Bharta and chicken tikka masala are my go items; add some garlic nan and youve got a good meal! Price has gone up and the quantity has gotten smaller but the quality is the same (great good). Small gem.

Absolutely great Indian food as it is supposed to be. They dont use heavy cream in everything they cook like other Indian restaurants in Bay area. Try them and you will find out the difference.
