Love the lunch buffet, there are tons of options and all tasty. Much of it is a bit spicy, so be warned. The service people are friendly and they often have Indian movie playing in the background. Sometimes it takes awhile to get naan at lunchtime, as it comes in a basket and is not at the buffet (there are other bread options at the buffet). I called in an order to go this evening for my first takeout order there, and it was wonderful! Same tasty food as usual and generous portions. The samosas had a seasoned powdery coating on top I dont remember at the restaurant, but it added extra deliciousness. It was also packed very well in containers and plastic wrap, so no chance of spoiling in the car , and it was surprisingly still hot by the time I got home. Yay!

Being a Indian with experience in eating Indian food around Bay Area can tell you that food is not good , most curries tasted sweet , basmati rice was cooked in oil ? and served as raw rice , Kheer tasted like it was cooked few days back , most food seemed to have been prepared already like a day or two back , there is something terribly wrong with the way food is here, avoid until unless you are like super hungry and everything else is closed! SunnyVale has better restaurant with a great selection of buffet and fresh food!

This place is really spacious and has a party hall as well. Smells and looks like an old building with good artwork around.I could see only 2 waiters. For vegetarians there were not much options in appetizers.Main course were a tad pricey but they give really good qty and also a bread free with an entree.Naan, garlic naan and Paneer Lavabdar were too good.Tandoori roti tasted average.Service was average with neither server having a smiling face or welcoming behavior.Food is good.Huge capacity.

Came here for a wedding reception and it was a horrible experience. The food was alright, however nearly the entire working staff including I presume the owner who stands at the register to collect the money all did not wash their hands after using the restroom while I was in their changing my outfit. Also the waiter set the table cloth on fire while setting the fire food heater when setting the food. I will never go back again.

My wife, son & I have been to all the Bombay Garden locations in the Bay Area and this one is our favorite. Flavors are the least dialed down for the masses. Unlike the San Mateo location, there is actually spicy heat in the dishes. And the food here is less salty than the Santa Clara location. This dining room is the most well kept. And the wait staff dont hurry you to finish. There is plenty of free parking.

Very good selection for buffet, especially the butter chicken, spinach paneer and tandoori chicken. Naan bread is awsome, and comes in different flavors. They also have regular dining in the evening Monday through Thursday, and evening buffet Friday to Sunday. Restrooms tend to be in need b of service and maintenance though.

I went there on Thursday.. No music.. The place look dead.. Than the supervisor took my order and i never saw him again.. I ordered fish and it took them 45 minutes to serve..the food was not that bad... My experience was not good .. And the customer service was not satisfying.. I will think twice taking my family there

This place is not for south indian food. Being from hyderabad, I expect biryani atleast to be close to what hyderabadi biryani(defacto) should look & taste like. The biryani was no way close. It was some pulav, lot of onions . Didnot like the experience. This review applies only to biryani lovers and south indians.

Good food, decent portions, well priced. Missing 2 stars for poor ambiance and below average service. We wanted to order off the menu but they insisted we have the buffet. When we didnt agree, no one came to the table for 30+ minutes. And never asked if we wanted other things.

You can load up on a ton of decent Indian food for about $12. It is a buffet and the food is good without being great. Make sure you are very hungry when you come here otherwise there are cheaper places in Fremont that serve better tasting food.

One of the Indian restaurants with decent ambiance. We went here for buffet which was good. I liked their tandoori chicken & the other lamb gravy preparation. Chicken kadai was strictly okay so was the fish starter. Gulab jamun was good too.

The best Indian cuisine buffet on the west coast. The food selection is quite large, catering to all whether non-veg or vegetarian. If youre dining during non-veg buffet hours, the food is cooked to order and simply delicious.

Bombay Garden catered food for my childs 1st birthday. Items were reasonably priced, fresh and importantly tasty. Guests enjoyed the food and inquired about the caterer.

Incredible Indian food! Too often I go to an Indian restaurant in my travels that the food comes from a bag...this place was the freshest and great variety of foods

They have a buffet dinner in the evenings, and if you are the kind of person who loves the north-Indian food, especially the tandoor non-vegetarian, go for it!

Never had a bad experience or less than perfect meal at BOMBAY GARDENS. Cant go wrong with the most options of an Indian buffet or superb service.

Quality seems to be coming down of late. Went with my family and none of us liked anything much there. Most of the items were tasteless this time.

ALL the food is too spicy. Not sure whether they changed management or the chef, but they used to have better food. Even the tea was botched.

lots of choices, lots of good food. a bit pricey, but theyve always been good to us and not charge full for the kids who dont eat much.
