Naatiya is an Indian restaurant specialized on food from the south and thus offers a number of dishes which I had not seen in a restaurant before. I was lucky to visit Naatiya with a nice group of people and therefore could sample a number of dishes. The classics such as Chicken Tikka Masala and Saag Paneer were very tasty. What really surprised me were Dosa and Uttapam, which are crepe and pancake like dishes made from rice batter. My favorite this evening was Baingan Bartha, a vegetarian dish based on eggplant with a lot of Indian spices. The decor unfortunately does not reflect the diverse and colorful food, but is rather pale, dark and functional. In total a restaurant with interesting food but disappointing ambient.

Naatiya is easily the BEST PLACE to eat South Indian food in Connecticut! No question about it. We are regular visitors to Naatiya since 2010. Absolutely love their food and variety. They keep up with the food taste, authenticity and quality consistently throughout. There is never a time when we came back disappointed from Naatiya. Their traditional Manchatti biriyani is especially a standout dish. One cannot find more courteous and friendly staff than the guys at Naatiya. Their party orders are also excellently handled and reasonably priced. Kudos to their team. Love you guys!!!

We had heard good things about the place from our friends. However, we had the WORST experience on Xmas 2016 lunch bufett. Found hair in my plate and my mother in laws plate. It was DISGUSTING and UNHYGENIC. The sambhar was water down and hard to eat. There was no staff to complain. We were six people and they only brought 3 dosas. My son saw one of the workers licking the finger with sambhar that was served. I would never go there or encourage someone to go there. The manager is so arrogant and did not care about our experience, that he did not ask how our experience was.

This place is good for nice South Indian food options. I wont say its authentic as many of my south Indian friends would agree.. but they are not bad.. However coming to the other items like chicken curries, fish curries, Biriani etc.. they have a long way to go.. any dish I tried till date that is not south Indian, had almost always treated lot below par.. if you happen to be there, do try the gulab jamun... do not have a thing for sweet tooth myself, but friends liked it.

Worst food ever had. If you have tried all best foods in Connecticut then try this food for some worst full experience. No salt in foods, biryani is not worthy and too expensive. I dont want to write the review also but just wanted to help others from eating this worst food. What kind of restaurant doesnt know how to make a biryani? no place to arrange your own plates on the table. Overall rating for this food is 0.1 stars.

I have eaten twice so far after I moved to CT couple of weeks ago. Authentic South Indian food, smiling and humble attendants, they give you discounts if you pay by cash, understandable and appreciated. They make you feel home and great food. The sambar (a popular South Indian curry) is healthiest and tastier, dosas n idlis (breads) are fresh cooked n smells deliciously cooked well. Thank you guys, keep it up!!

Horrible service. Requested for Dosa and cutlery in buffet and we didnt get it at all. In spite of requesting multiple times and waiting for more than 15 min, no response from them. When we complained to manager, the response was due to heavy crowd and they couldnt manage the customers. They didnt offer anything in response to that. I will never go to this restaurant again or would recommend to anyone.

Over half the chicken had bones where they were Not meant to be, even got a chip in the vegetable mix... bland. Told then I had a severe allergy and they pointed out what was free of it... 3 of the 5 things they said didnt have it ...had it.... fun... the naan was good... they were great the the first time then lacking the second and its just not worth bringing anyone now. What happened....

Very nice restaurant and bar. The food tastes great. Mostly south Indian dishes for buffet. This place can get crowded during lunch and dinner time and you may need to wait to get seated. This is the only go to place in whole of Windsor and Bloomfield for people who want to taste authentic Indian food. They offer a discount if you pay cash. Staff is nice and courteous.

“Average is the word for buffet...” I went there because one of my friends recommended it highly. I forgot she is south Indian (pun intended) … She may be liked it but for me, it was just ok… the ambience was good but food wise, I will think twice to go for buffet again.. tandoori seems like a day old... biryani was only for veg... except 2-3 items, everything was ok…

This is the right place for Authentic South Indian food. I would rate this as the best in food authenticity, and service. The waiters are very friendly and readily accommodate any requests. My top rate goes to Lunch buffet. My husband and I regularly have lunch at this place on weekends and I come with my office colleagues on most of the Fridays..

Ive had only their lunch buffet so far and very happy with it, plenty to choose from and excellent pricing for quality authentic Indian cuisine. The staff is very friendly and their service was great. I work just down the road and started going the other day but I can tell I will be frequent there, definitely won this foodie over.

Lunch Buffet is superb. If you are going for dinner and need hot spicy food, you need to specify that. For buffet , they serve Masala Dosa, Idli, chutney, Naan, Paneer curry, veg biriyani, chicken/lamb biriyani ( not sure), Egg Masala, curd rice , normal boiled rice , ice cream etc..

These guys are greedy... for three year old kid.... they charged 7 $ as a buffet... normally indian restaurants will not charge for small kids. Also, food is very expensive.... 5 people went on a non buffet day and didnt order much... it came out 120 dollars...

The buffet has varieties of choices for who are vegetarian and who are not. Everything was tasty and more spicy that Im used to but not exaggerated. The place is big enough to go with a big group. The mangolassi was heavenly! The staff was very helpful and nice.

It have good idly, sambhar, wada and various other dishes. but the chicken was not boneless and was difficult to eat it. And no paneer in paneer butter masala. Deserts are good comparing to other restaurants. You can try once and decide.
