I have been going here for a while and in my time i had tried many many MANY indian restaurants to see if any restaurant can beat the price and taste. Guess how many i found? Zero, yes im not kidding. Why is this place so great? let me explain to you The naan is always fresh and so warm that it practically burns your fingerprints right off!(just kidding) but that shows you how much they are well prepared. The chicken tikka masala is always recommended as it is the correct amount of spice without burning your tongue. Random tip #1- If you order a chicken tikka masala and want another one instead buy a chicken breast and dip it into the sauce itself which creates more food for less! Saag chicken is full of spinach and chicken and this chicken has bone might i add. IT gives it a flavorful and rich aroma to supplement the spinach itself. Of course we do have the chicken tandoori leg! Its is very good but the portion size is smaller then the breast however it does have more taste! Crisp but not burnt, just right. The Karahi is also a great dish you should try, and its kind of hard to explain the karahi so its kinda like more masala and herb driven which is different then the tumeric powder used in the tikka. All in all every time i come here im not disappointed especially when i come ask for the bill which is surprisingly low for the amount of food you get. I pay at least $30-$50 and end up taken the seconds home which even i cant finish. Although the inside could use a little redecorating its fine as long as the food is great. Also to Muslim readers, this restaurant is confirmed to be HALAL if anyone is wondering. Now if only i can half half spoon of that tikka masala

The food is marvelous and pricing is attractive. It is a small place, so relative to some alternatives in the area, the noise level is tolerable, sometimes even quiet. The décor is minimal. You order at the counter and they bring the food out, but other than that, you serve yourself getting tea, water, silverware, and plates (you save on a tip!). Dont expect an itemized bill -- the owner does the calculation in his head (accurately, based on my limited experience).

Ive been going to this restaurant for a while until one day when I was ordering at the register and behind the dude up front I saw a roach on the floor. Literally where they were cooking. This place has a serious sanitation problem. Theyre water is also literally left in theyre fridge for weeks on end and tastes disgusting. They also never wash theyre cups. Next one you go there take a look at how dusty and dirty theyre blue plastic cups are.

The best biryani you can get in U.S. (I am comparing this with east coast and mid-west). One important distinction, it is NOT a "Indian" restaurant. It is a "Pakistani" restaurant. There is a lot of difference in the taste of biryani made in these 2 countries. The restaurant owner and 2 of the cooks are Pakistani and they serve the actual taste of biryani served in Pakistan. You will love the food if you are biryani-fan-boi !

The food was not bad. I give this place 2 stars because of the overall dirty and unsanitary feel I got from it. The place could use a good dusting and cleaning. One thing that really turned me off though was looking in the kitchen to see the cook, who wasnt wearing gloves, wipe his nose with his hand only to proceed to grab a plate with it when he was done and placing someones rice on it.

I am in the restaurant from last 30 minutes just order "daal masala and 2 naans" there are not even much customers in the restaurant but they are taking forever. They should realize customers always walk in with hunger. The guy who took order probably carting stress from home. No smile at all, maybe my order is small thats why no smile or no quick service.

I have 3 reasons for giving this restaurant 2 stars 1. Theyre bathroom is DISGUSTING 2. I was walking to the dirty restrooms and before you walk in there is an entrance with these high swinging doors where the workers usually walk in from, under the door I saw a huge roach just casually crawling out of the door. One word. Disgusting.

Bismillah restaurant is a perfect example that you dont need a big fancy palace like restaurant to eat like a king. The service was great and the food was delicious, although Im mexican I felt like a nephew visiting relatives. Thank you my friends the tea was the icing on the cake cant wait to go back

I have been quite a few times to this restaurant. I like the food - especially the brain masala. The ambiance is nothing to write home about. But the food is great and very resaonably priced.

Very good value, tasty and satisfying. The staff are friendly the wait is reasonable for freshly-made Indo-Pakistani food. I cannot give five stars only because the bathroom was grody.

So spicy I could eat nothing but naan and raita, the staff almost laughed when I asked for mild, hunks of bone in the biryani, and dammit Im out $12 and still hungry!

Restaurant owner was kind and explained menu in detail. Got a free drink. The food is ok for my taste, but many India people eat there so it must be authentic.
