Went in they were a little busy not bad, guys are working well with the customers as fast as they can. Both very nice, get to the end, lady working at the time seemed irritated, tell her what I have ask her to add chips an Queso says ok with an attitude.. then I pull out $100 she said I dont think I can break that checks she cant, ok, so Im like I only have $100 shes like well I dont know what to tell you, I was like is there a place you know where I can break this she say the food place next store might (pita-pit) I believe I go I. There they were so helpful, said they just changed drawers but will get in the safe if they have too an they had to after I was done, go back over go straight to the counter because Im not gonna wait back in a big line to just buy my food. She rolls her eyes an say Ill be with you in a second once hes done (another guy checking out) pay for food says here thats yours, Im like you forgot my chips an queso, she then yells at the guys for forget it. Theyre trying to hurry as fast they can while still trying to communicate with customers she then rolled her eyes and proceeds to do it herself hes like I got it and fills it up she goes and stands by the register again rolling her eyes smacking her lips then when she gets the case so she said here and shut it towards me. This is on June 17 around 7:15. I get home proceeded to eat the food the chips are extremely salty so salty that I couldnt even eat them the queso didnt really have a lot of flavor and weird aftertaste my Barito the vegetables and it didnt have any flavor couldnt taste them the chicken was extremely dry everything just was not good, and so not worth the trip and hassle. Will not be going to this one ever again (first time to this store) Beyond disappointed...

Not impressed with our experience here. The rice was super dry and crunchy, they were out of pico and corn salsa and veggies, and the lettuce was very wilted. The guy making my bowl seemed like he was stoned out of his mind and had no idea how to do his job. Luckily the cashier lady was very nice, helpful and attentive. They werent wearing nametags so I dont have their names. As someone who works in the customer service restaurant industry, Im very displeased with this Pancheros location and will not be returning. Such a shame because I love the burrito bowls!

A newer restaurant along Ingersoll that shares storefront with Pita Pit and Firehouse subs. And I think being newer to the neighborhood exposes these stores to extra scrutiny and criticism. I dont think the criticism that you read online is fair. The burritos at Pancheros are great. Theyre made just the way you want them, quickly, and by friendly and polite people. Qdoba, La Hacienda, Taco Bell, Abelardos, and El Patio probably dont like the market saturation along Ingersoll.

I have enjoyed eating at Pancheros for years. However I would not recommend this one at all. In recent months I have noticed a considerable decline in the quality of the food and the service. The last chicken burrito I ordered would have been more aptly described as a "charcoal" burrito. The hygiene of the staff leaves much to be desired. And the customer service is about as bad as I have ever experienced. I will not be dining at this location anytime soon.

I would like to express my concern with this Pancheros. Im a long time fan of this fast food place. However, this place was terrible. The staff seemed upset to give you the order. The food was dry and tasted old. The staff who managed food with gloves also touched counters, money, credit cards. Never changing gloves. Its was very dissapointing. I would suggest you review at least your health practices even if you do nothing to change staff attitudes.

The service was excellent but the food wasnt what I expected: it wasnt even remotely warm, the guacamole tasted like it had either sat too long or it didnt have enough lime juice/was cheap guacamole, the veggies in my veggie bowl were still raw (which is fine with the bell peppers but not with raw onions) my boyfriend couldnt even get through his burrito (there were hard bits in it), for the price it was I could have went to Chipotle.

Went in after i started ordering they told me the bean were still cold so i asked them to heat some up on the grill. They told me thats not the way they heat them so i would just have to eat them cold or come back when the steam table was done heating them. So i wont be headed back. If you would rather serve cold food them throw a hand full of beans on the grill then i would rather go else where.

Waited fifteen minutes and the line at the counter did not progress by a single customer. 4 people behind the counter standing around, one guy pressing tortillas and throwing two out of three in the garbage can. Not a clue what was going on in this store, and no employees were even greeting, let alone explaining or apologizing to customers for the wait.

Great service: my boyfriend and I stopped here late on a Friday night and two employees helped us order-I believe their names were Sarah and Dave? I dont remember.. but there service was fast, and extremely professional. They should be given raises. And of course, we really enjoyed the food!

A classic Iowa burrito chain with freshly pressed tortillas. The one thing they are really missing is a real Mexican salad option...they just use the cheap shredded lettuce. Burritos are huge and very filling. Soft tortillas and great seasonings.

Qdoba is just around the corner and is better tasting. Abelardos is across the street and is more authentic. Pancheros does have big portion sizes, friendly and speedy customer service though.

Hands down best Panch in DSM! Even after 10pm, which is usually when I roll by, the food is fresh and the place is nice n clean. The late night staff is always chill and the music is fire!!
