We just finished an amazing riverside meal. We had the wall eye special - $19.99 and on par with any $50 big city fish plate and blackened catfish with crawfish sauce - wow! We were bliwn away by flavor and freshness. Kiddos (4&8) had chicken fingers, fried shrimp , fries and fried green beans. Again all fresh and hand breaded. Delicious! The salad bar was crisp and clean with a wide range of options including a fabulous home made blue cheese dressing. Service was friendly and thorough. We ate outside. Inside was in keeping with area- Nothing fancy, a little dated but clean and acceptable. We did not drink but were told it is one of the few spots un the area that serve. We would go back in a heartbeat.

I am local and WANT to love this place but this makes the 3rd time in recent months I have been there and not just been unimpressed but flat out disappointed. If you order a salad you think they couldnt mess it up....you would be wrong. wilted lettuce and flies is what you get. A stuffed steak, sounds amazing...and it would be if it didnt take 30 min to get and terrible server to go with it. Burgers? yep theyve got em in three shade of burned and with no flavor at all. Again, I WANT to love this place but despite my many attempts, just cant. It clearly needs new staff, new chefs, and new management.

Went to klasier mostly because everywhere in town was busy, and asked to sit in a quiet room because the bar and main rooms were loud so the hostess told us we were welcome to sit in a room off to the side and were yelled at by the tall skinny brunette...(I guess she was a manager?) that that room was closed. When a waitress finally greeted us she was obnoxiously loud and not the most pleasant when asking for our drink order. After such a gracious greeting we decided we would go elsewhere with our business for the evening.

After 5 years i have tried again. Upon being seated by the hostess in a quiet room, the manager came into the room and yelled at my date and I that the room was closed. After advising the lady of the situation she reluctantly withdrew. Several minutes passed when a waitress showed, with a loud introduction. After receiving our drinks, that were made wrong, we decided it best we spend our evening somewhere else. Im still disappointed. If it wasnt for the alcohol this place would be out of business.

I really dont understand the poor reviews for Cafe Klaser. We eat there regularly and we have never had a bad meal. Or a long wait. Or poor service. Or seen flies on the salad bar. Their grilled lemon pepper catfish is unusually good and my husband loves their all you can eat specials on Thursdays. Im honestly a little suspicious of the poor reviews. Disgruntled former employee and their friends? Who knows, but dont let them put you off trying Klasers.

WOW! Ive eaten here every time Im in town and the stuffed steak is what I get! It has ALWAYS been great and the guys that I come with still talk about how great that steak was! The reviews are confusing but I would have to agree with one of the other comments, either disgruntled employee or just some people cant be satisfied. Great place! I would advise to check it out at least once and make your own judgement before your write this place off.

I have been wanting to try this place for years..... well, Saturday night we finally went. Service was ok. We were there 2 hours, food took forever to be served, bland and cold. Salad bar not fresh at all, bread/crutons hard as a brick and i couldnt bite without fear of breaking a tooth. Not impressed at all, will never go back.

Great food, great service and a wonderful view from the outside seating. A lot of people complain about how long it takes to get the food but they cook steak and a lot of seafood so they take their time doing it right and it always tastes wonderful. This is not a place to go if you want to quickly but it is worth the wait

My fiancee and I walked through the front door to an empty and strange cafe. Two employees didnt greet us, they instead fought over who had to be our server. Attempted to order a beer anyways - couldnt because I have to pay for a $10 membership per person to drink here. Food was so-so. We will never eat here again.

Worst meal ever. Waitress was very accommodating... But wine was out of old open bottle... And steak was not a filet cut or cooked medium as requested but was well done. 2nd visit food was awful. We are done with this place. We will spend our money elsewhere. Taco Bell sounds better and fresher than Cafe Clasier.

Every time I go visit Heber Springs before my dad passed away, this always was the best place to eat and drink. I absolutely love the stuffed steak! Edit: I went to Klasers a few weeks back, they were under staffed, the food took an hour and 15 minutes to get to the table, the bacon on my wrapped steak was raw..

This is the best place to relax and enjoy good food, good service breath taking decor inside and out! All of my experiences there get 5 stars!! Dont change a thing...its perfect! You feel at home and always top services. Food is just how u order it! ***** very reasonable prices to.

Just got back from the worst restaurant in Heber, Cafe Klaser. Flies all over Sunday buffet!!! So I decided to get a burger. First burger comes, Burnt to a crisp! Second one comes and it has a fly on the lettuce. Make sure if you go to this restaurant, tell them to hold the flies!!

Awesome place! The back porch seating is great ambiance with a nice view of the river. Really friendly waitstaff and really good food. Every time I visit family in Heber Spring I make sure to eat here. Arkansas food like it should be made!

Good food, cold beer, and great location on the Little Red River. Be sure to try the beef burgers, catfish, salad bar, salmon burger, Rueben sandwich, Cajun fries, gumbo, home made pizzas, and delicious pies for dessert!

Worst ever!! Waitresses are unprofessional , food is like school lunch room. Food overpriced, place is filthy. 3 months out of the year they should be ready for Lake People! Needs someone to clean house!!!
