A little story: When i moved to Fort Smith about six years ago, I had a hard time finding a good place to have lunch besides home. Someone recommended a restaurant (NOT PHO HOANG), and it was home cooking. Didnt care for the food at all, because it seemed everything was doused in gravy. I looked across the street and saw Pho Hoang and asked myself "What the hell am I doing here?". The very next day I went to Pho Hoang and sure enough, I was not at all disappointed. Everything they serve is THE BEST. Their eggs rolls are incredible, the meat is cut and cooked just right, and the broths are awesome, especially in the winter time. Thee owner practically lives there, tending the counter, serving drink or just sits downs to watch TV in the back. Hard to believe that they were not getting business when I discovered then years ago, but now, the place, every time I go, is packed. I no longer live in Fort Smith, but my mother still does and every time I drive a few hours to go see her, we always go to Pho Hoang, best restaurant in Fort Smith, Arkansas!

Just to make this clear, the food is awesome, however the customer service from the female owner (ONLY) is horrible and disrespectful. She just stands around talking and deliberately ignoring the customers. We have been going there for years and the service continues to get worse from the female owner. I had to ring the bell at the counter to pay my bill several times while she talked with her friends just feet away. When she finally decided to come she was very rude and acted like she was annoyed that I had interrupted her personal conversation. Never again will we be going to Pho Hoang just because of her awful attitude. She is running a business and needs to work on her attitude toward the customers and most of all actually Work.

As soon we walk in they just standing around no greet. So we sat ourself down. No one came to serve us. So we left!!.if I can give zero star I would. Instead they was just more interested in counting their money and chit chatting and petting there friends dogs outside. Ridiculous. I left this review just as it just happen just now.

Food was pretty good.. Service or lack of, was absurd.. Woman at the counter was incredibly rude and never checked on us after waiting 20 minutes to take our order.. She just sat up front and glared at everyone. If you hate your job, get a different one.. And if you have employees like this, you loose customers like me.

Food is excellent. The pho ga is a nice departure from the typical beef pho, but I do still love the traditional beef. The restaurant is clean, service is usually good, but can be slow at times. Not cheap, but not overpriced either, and the portions are HUGE. Id recommend it, and go back often.

I wasnt impressed. Everything on the menu I can order at other local Vietnamese restaurants. I came here on my lunch hour and it took forever to get my food. Wouldve been a better dinner place perhaps when I wasnt in such a rush. The food wasnt bad. It just didnt wow me either.

Fast and friendly service. Granted this is mine and my husbands place. We went there to eat on all of the special occasions. He even proposed to me there! The waitresses all know our order without us having to get a menu.

Love their pho broth but the service is sometimes slow even if youre the first customer to walk through the doors... I recommend their spring rolls. Also very delicious!

Wonderful Vietnamese food, and a friendly family atmosphere. My favourites: #42 (a chicken, fresh veggies, and noodle dish), spring rolls, and strawberry bubble tea.
