My wife and I tried this place out today, and it was pretty good. The customer service was friendly and the place was pretty well laid out. I ordered the breakfast enchiladas and my wife got the biscuits and gravy. The enchiladas were pretty good, though they were made with "chunked" pork and I think I would have prefered shredded. The red sauce was spicy as advertised. My wife said her gravy and biscuits were good, but the gravy was not the best. They have a nice assortment of coffees and teas to choose from as well. Our waiter was really friendly. He made sure my tea was full at all times. We also did not have to wait for the check or to be able to pay, which is always a plus. All in all its a place I would definitely visit again, and I would recommend trying them out.

Serving bottled water over tap-water-ice is usually a sign of bad things to come. The "beef" on the corn-beef hash distinctly looked like the pastrami sandwich meat I had served to me on the mediocre Reuben on another visit and the potatoes in the hash appeared to be exactly as those on the plates of my guests who had "breakfast potatoes". How novel. I sent mine back. My youngest guest seemed to enjoy his pancakes. My other guest ordered an omelet and asked for the onions and peppers to be served on the side. After some animated facial hesitation, the waiter announced that he would only do this for her "this one time". If you only knew how accurate your statement actually was.

Eaten here before and food was good, as was service. But when you come and one of the party asks if there is anything on the menu that does not contain gluten and the server answers no....then you ask, not even the meat and the server answers no and they even have a fruit plate on the menu. Does not fill us with confidence for someone with an allergy. Also does not suggest server either knows what gluten is or was even listening to the question. Did not even offer to go ask in the kitchen when they were informed that meant person cod not eat here then. Very disappointing in this day to experience. Guess we will have to go to some of the other local breakfast places instead.

We heard about this special place that served breakfast and lunch from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. so we had to try it. This is a real gem and be sure to go here if you want something different for breakfast or lunch. The food was great!!! We had "Fancy Pants Scrambler" and the "Mediterranean Omelet". Both were exceptionally tasty. I had a mimosa, which was made from fresh squeezed orange juice, to accompany my breakfast . Yummy!!!! Be sure to ask for Sue H for your server. She is so friendly and helpful and met our every need with out having to ask for anything. We will be back soon!!!!

I paid less for a better brunch on beverly hills Ca. The service was good and honestly the best part of it. I noticed the thermostat on the wall said 78 degrees but it felt much warmer and i was wearing a paper thin linen tank. You know for 16.99 a plate i would expect more eggs and less potatoes. The babies waffles were 8.99 ea plus a charge for the side of berries. Thats over $10 for a plain waffle and fruit. It was not bad...it just was. This is the second time i tried a place oohed and aahed by guy fieri and all i have to say is never again.

Went here a couple of months ago with a friend. I picked this place from a quick search on Yelp and I was glad I did. Our food was delicious and really tasted like I was back home. The decor wasnt anything to get excited about, but it was clean and had a very lively atmosphere. The place was very busy and the service was excellent. I noticed on their chalkboard that the following week their establishment would be on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, which I thought was a good sign! Next time Im in Scottsdale Im going back!

Everything but the Coffee! The service here is great. The employees are friendly and handle a rush very well. We asked the waiter (Jose) to surprise us and he brought Breakfast Enchiladas and Wine Country French Toast. The only mar on the experience was the coffee. It was just not good. Terrible even. Not that I expected to be blown away, but a breakfast place, especially one of this caliber should have good coffee. On a whole though, we had an excellent time.

Their grass fed burgers are excellent, never over cooked. Its tricky to cook grass fed beef without turning it into leather, they know how. French fries are always fresh, never old and soggy. Breakfast has always been made right, and tastes very good. The Rosemary breakfast potatoes are worth the trip. They make an unsweetened Passion Fruit iced tea that is great. I wish they had gluten free options but they dont.

I gave it 3 because the food is pretty good and Robert is the best waiter! But we wont go back. Get ready to be charged wrong, at the mistake of the waitstaff and be expected to pay for it. Or a shouting match with the rude hostess. Happened more than once, not worth the headache. Lots of great breakfast places in Scottsdale to spend your money at. I recommend you keep driving.

Our family went last week and had a wonderful breakfast. Biscuits and gravy were awesome! My boys had chocolate chip pancakes and were very happy! Service was excellent. The only disappointing thing was that they didnt have childrens menus with crayons-- something to keep them busy with while waiting for their food. They should add this-- keeps kids happy and parents happy!

I compared the food here to my current gold standard at QC Koffee Break in Rock Island, Illinois and wasnt let down; however, they did not become the new standard. I had the PERK scramble and the biscuits and gravy. My wife the cowboy scramble it was all delicious. Great service as well the waiter was on top of things the whole time. I would highly recommend this place.

Perk is an awesome place for breakfast or lunch! The food was fantastic and the service impeccable! We dont always like to try new places for fear they wont be good, but NOT the case here, we will DEFINITELY be back. The place is clean, the people are friendly and the food exceptional! You must try the pancakes they are to die for and so is the Bahama Mama!!

Love Perk! The Irishman is a meal big enough for 2 and so delicious!! Service is also amazing!! Very caring staff....Im moving slow after a knee replacement and the host at the door was so willing to lend a hand in the door and to the booth. Our server was so attentive and personable. Always a great experience there, but even more so today. Thanks Perk!

Great little neighborhood cafe with excellent food items. The breakfast was perfect, I couldnt have asked for anything better. Service was very good. The menu items are priced about right with a large selection for breakfast or lunch. About $10 per person and the meal is worth every penny. I enjoyed the breakfast and Ill be back for lunch soon.
