We visited this restaurant on Sunday night the day after Valentine’s and on a holiday weekend. The time of our visit was 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. We were seated after a 15 minute wait, which was no problem. But then the problems began. One featured “catch of the day” on the menu was salmon, which both my spouse and I ordered. Twenty minutes after we had placed our order, the waitress returned to apologize and tell us the restaurant was out of salmon. That it took 20 minutes for the cook staff and the waitress to relay this information to us was a bit of a setback, but we re-ordered. My spouse ordered a tilapia and vegetable dish and I ordered another featured “catch of the day” selection: grilled swordfish. My spouse’s selection was quite good, as I tried a taste of it. My daughter’s rock island tilapia was also quite tasty. However, my wood-fired swordfish was barely edible. It was dry, it was overcooked, and it was tasteless. At least it was “fresh” in that it did not have a fishy taste. During the meal my granddaughter wanted a second glass of milk. We ordered it and the waitress returned and apologized that the restaurant was out of milk! At the end of the meal, we ordered a chocolate lava cookie and I ordered a cup of decaf to go with my dessert. The waitress returned with the cookie and apologized and said the coffee pots had been cleaned out for the night. (It was 9:00 p.m., there were still several patrons in the restaurant, the restaurant closes at 10:00 p.m. and yet no decaf was available.) The waitress was very friendly, polite, and efficient. She was also very apologetic throughout our ordeal and I was careful to not take my frustrations out on her. I left her an extra generous tip. Bottom line: Between the cash bar and the restaurant check I dropped over $160 at a restaurant in which I had to wait 20 minutes to hear that my first order was unavailable; my second order was barely edible; my granddaughter could not get a glass of milk; and I could not bother the kitchen staff to dirty up one of their clean and shiny coffee pots for a $2 cup of coffee.

The customer service was excellent. We were seated immediately and our waitress was very tentative and addressed all of our needs and orders quickly. With 5 adults and a one year old, our drinks, appetizers, and food were served surprisingly very quickly, however, the quality of the food was not superior. -Every dish ordered came with a side salad. Once they arrived, they were simply made of lettuce, a couple red onion slices, 2 grape tomatoes, and dressing. The actual lettuce was not cut well, and consisted mostly of core and hardly any green, and no other greens. Salad may be salad, but considering it was a side, I had to use a knife to cut it to mouth size. -the stuffed mushrooms: while it was tasty, not all of the mushrooms were whole, resulting in more stuffing than what was quantifiable per mushroom. -the shrimp trio was good, but very salty. -the tilapia tacos were very tasty, however the plate they were served on was really too small. If we had not received excellent customer service, our rating would have been unsatisfactory. While some of the food was good, some was very generic. The bill was just under $160, and I left a decent tip for our waitress, as well as the busser for the mess caused by my daughter. I honestly had expected a better quality of food, even for the small stuff, considering it was not busy, and our mission was to eat something more superior then takeout pizza.

Do NOT order the "new" lobster scampi linguini! This may just be the worst restaurant meal I have ever had. The larger pieces of lobster were rubbery and soggy, the linguini overcooked, the scampi sauce adequate. We were trying not to complain, because we knew we were late diners (arriving about 7:30 pm on Sunday) but the lobster bits were inedible. When we finally mentioned it to our server, she suggested that perhaps I wasnt familiar with the difference between claw meat and tail meat, and offered to bring me an additional portion of the meat. I declined. Then I moved out the pieces that looked like scrapings held together with connective tissue. My husband called her over again and showed her how attempting to cut the lobster with a fork resulted in the meat bouncing back into shape! She offered me a free dessert; call me old fashioned, but if I cant eat my meal, I dont want dessert. Ultimately, we paid our bill and left, without making a scene - I would have felt better if the bill were discounted, or we were offered a manager to speak to. I will say that the salad and the cheddar biscuits were as good as ever - but not enough to ever lure us back.

I dont think well be coming back. When we arrived there were less than half a dozen patrons in the building and five servers yet it still took almost 20 minutes before the waiter came over to take our drink orders. After that little hiccup the service was actually awesome, the waiter was quick to refill drinks and check on us. Unfortunately the food did anything but impress. We ended up getting the endless shrimp and this year it was just a let down. The scampi, fried, and even the new Korean bbq were all just very bland. The only shrimp that really seemed to be of quality in flavor was the Parmesan peppercorn shrimp. I think from this point on were just going to write off Red Lobster in favor of the local seafood places that provide better food for the same price.

The waitress was the worst [ Brooke ] she had no personality, no ethics, she somehow ? [ Yes you can even teach rodents ] memorized a speech, telling she was our waitress, but not knowing anything else or caring too. [ with her braces, she even looked like a rodent ] She never told me that the plate was hot and just out of oven...so I burned my hand. I dont think its right leaving a bad review because of a rodent problem. The food,..... The lobster had no taste, and plane butter to dip, no garlic. The steak also had no spices. The all you can eat shrimp, 6 at a time, with 20 minute wait, Ive had better frozen. I would give this place less than 1 star..... Red Lobster, I will never be back.,,,Dan Kraft

A birthday was wasted on spoiled service. Several sorries all around for our guests to whom we invited after we left the rip-off joint. They leave in gratuity when they give you the bill...A Huge Downer & Free Ticket for Lousy Service. We had to flag down our server for an appetizer order. The after the appetizer... the follow-up we waited another 10 min. for the server to take our main order to which another server had to step in & do the job because our Server was nowhere to be found. We waited another 45 min. for our food to be done & our server never checked up on us...only the other server which was covering OTHER TABLES. Terrible food servings of proteins. I Will Follow Up A Complaint With The BBB.
