Just ate there for the first time was excited for the great menu selection. We met here for a graduation celebration and I live in Springville my brother in woods cross and mother in orem, lehi was a great middle meeting. We came at 5:10pm told them we needed seats for 11. The employee helped us with the table we were looking at the menu and kids menu and waiting for my brother who hit bad traffic and was 15 min behind. Well people start coming in but we already had most of our table filled and were politely waiting for my brother. Right off the bat customers and employees tell us we can save tables.... uh ok why not we have a big party coming? The employee that helped us with the table tells us you cant reserve tables but Ill let it slide this time... ok. Anxiety is high by this time. So I jump up and start ordering for my kids and my brother walks in the door its 5:25and orders. They messed up our order. missed my step dads food all together and he paid... and missed a taco but the lady wasnt nice about it demanded to see the receipt and then says well Ill take your card and charge you for the difference. By that time Im done. The atmosphere combined with the attitude of everyone giving us a hard time about the table i was DONE. So I told her Im really disappointed in this place and (this is the same lady that helped us with the table and then told us we couldnt save it.) she says well Im just doing my job. Hmmm for 100$ worth of food and chaos NOT WORTH IT. Its sad because the food was good I really enjoyed the lobster taquitos! And the kids loved their food we were filled it was nice for that part. When were about finished people start to hoard in on our table yet again. Then the bussers start taking out plates which is great but they took the ones with our food on it that we were still finishing even though I said DONT TAKE THOSE ONES and my brother had ran to the bathroom... a different employee felt bad about that one and she was very nice and gave him a basket of fries to go. I was beyond done by that point AND HAD LEFT. High anxiety environment poor service in a busy time and sad because the food was good but ruined by bad service.

We visited Maine last year and basically ate our way from lobster shack to shack in search of the best lobster rolls. The Slapfish lobster rolls taste every bit as good as anything we had in New England. You swap out the picturesque lighthouse and Maine coastline in the background with the busy I-15 freeway, but otherwise the lobster rolls taste every bit as good as authentic Maine lobster rolls. The market price for the lobster rolls might seem a bit pricey to some folks, but you seriously have to try it at least once. You wont regret it! There are also plenty of other more affordable dishes just as delicious that you have to try. We had the Clobster Grilled Cheese which may have tasted even better than the lobster roll. Add a side of Chowder Fries and I dare you to find someone that wouldnt love that dish. Grilled cheese, fries, chowder sauce, bacon, crab and shrimp. Even my picky kid eats all that stuff!! I have also had the Ultimate Fish Taco which tastes great but took me a minute to plan my attack how I would even hold the darn thing. Its a huge slab of fish (you choose what fish from the fish menu). We added a side of Housemade Pickles (pretty good) and some Lobster Toquitos (incredible!). The restaurant surprisingly doesnt smell fishy for being a seafood place. It has a fun, modern vibe with wood pallet walls and modern decor and lighting. It basically feels like a modern seafood shack so Id say they nailed their restaurant tagline. Service was surprisingly quick considering the line of people. I live and work nearby so Im gonna have a hard time finding a better choice when were wondering "where should we go eat tonight?"

Very Very disapointed. My husband and I are big foodies. We love trying new places. This was a big let down. We went to their grand opening this past Saturday. We waited over an hour to get in and get our food because there was a huge line. But we didnt mind waiting for food we thought would be good. We ordered the lobster roll and the lobster grinder. The lobster roll was $25 by its self. We thought well if its going to be $25 its gotta be good with a lot of lobster right? Wrong....very little lobster on what they call a roll which is more like texas toast. We were very disappointed. We left hungry and wasnt impressed with the taste of it either. We spent $40. I think the lobster roll should have been priced at $8 for what we got. We were very sad because we were hoping to make slapfish one of our new favorite places.

Had a lobster roll for $25! It was so small on one piece of Texas toast. Had the fried pickles, little greasy since it wasnt fried at the right temp. The Dagwood sandwich was like the pickles. The fish wasnt fried at the right tempurture either. Fries were like steak fries, tasted good although it needs more salt. We wanted to love it but didnt. Ill try one more time before I write this place off my list. Update: we took the whole family to give it another shot. We got the Dagwood and the fish and chips. The fish was still greasy and couple of us had stomach ache afterwards because of it. Not great. Ive had better fish and chips. Go to State Street grill in PG if you want good fish and chips instead.

This place was AMAZING. Great prices for seafood and worth the drive. California based seafood restaurant, brought to good ol Utah. Portions are huge and insanely filling. Lobster was cooked just right, not chewy and the crunchy fish was not thick battered. Menu isnt huge but there are plenty of options, all of which im sure are enjoyable. We had the ultimate fish taco and lobster grilled cheese. If you happen to have a non-seafood lover in the family like we do, the kids menu has a regular grilled cheese. The lobster grilled cheese came with a pickle spear and fries. Their menu also has fried pickle spears. You wont be disappointed in Slapfish!

Fantastic food here! I got a salmon bowl with brown rice and veggies that was delicious and filling; my wife got fish and chips and clam chowder. We loved everything we got! I like that they feature sustainably harvested fish, I believe in that. There is a wait on Fridays and Saturdays, but I think its worth it. If you hate to wait, go on a weeknight Mon- Thur. I highly recommend this great new restaurant. You can order anything on the menu and love it. Thats really unusual in the restaurant industry. And lots of healthy options. Love it!!!

My wife and I tried Slapfish for the first time today (the new Sandy location) while her salmon bowl was fantastic, my Ceviche was mediocre at best. If you know about Ceviche you will agree. Its almost like they threw in a bunch of veggies and some fish into a deluded tomato soup added tortilla chips around it and called it good. For 7 bucks I would like to get more. I will try this place again mainly because of my wifes tasty salmon, hopefully they improve their Ceviche. Will re-rate when I comeback.
