Atmosphere: Pretty cool atmosphere here, though the music was less than pleasant (Think old Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber songs), but otherwise very clean and I could probably live on their incredibly soft leather couches. Customer Service: Mmm...heres where it gets tricky. The guy who took my order used to work at Dutch Bros, so he was amazingly gracious and really friendly. One of the baristas noticed I was sitting in the leather chairs working when he finished my drink so he actually walked all the way out from the bar area to bring me my drink instead of making me get up. However, my mom had a different experience. She needed half & half in her coffee so she asked one of the girl baristas to refill it. The girl proceeded to add new cream to the canister (a big health & safety no-no) and then, when the cream dripped from the side of the canister, wiped it off with her bare fingers! (NOOOOO!) Needless to say, my mom didnt really use any cream. She also said her shots were very "bleh". Food: Not so good. I bought a Soy Caramel Truffle, thinking "caramel and chocolate, how can you go wrong?" It was very very wrong. Taste-bud-killing sweet and I couldnt even taste any coffee in it! I ordered a different drink instead. Thinking a chai was an easy route to go down. Not really any different. Super super sweet. I had a force myself to drink a few sips of it so I could go home, add shots and remake it. Super disappointing. Overall: Yeah Im probably not ever going to come back here unless its for those leather couches and someone else is paying for my drink!

Ive been to this location many times. The coffee is better than anything in the area. Up until yesterday, Ive had good experiences. I ordered a plain, iced coffee. They refused to make it. I asked why and they said the ice waters it down (duh) and that it would taste "gross" so they only serve it hot. I explained that I wanted to start drinking it right away (I had a long drive to work ahead of me) and would appreciate at least a few ice cubes dropped in to cool it down faster. They agreed to do that. Of course, when they handed me my pipping hot coffee there was no ice at all. I agree with most reviews that the baristas smile and ask you about your day, but great customer service is also about accommodating to customers requests. These nothing like shelling out your hard earned money and being refused what you asked for to start the day off on the wrong foot.

Great service with a smile as usual :-) These people never disappoint with their service. They will customize whatever order you want. Their drinks are really sweet for me but Theyll take it down if you want them to. They usually have fun music going and a great environment. The people inside are lively and trendy. But not with the pretentious attitude like you find at some Portlandy type places. Most of the people at my work like caramel Blondies blended. I prefer the blended redbull smoothies in peach flavor. With a little bit of cream in it theyre delicious. And they dont taste like an energy drink at all. Its definitely hidden in a way thats dangerous.

Really enjoyed this spot. I had the latte, which was solid, not amazing. I went for the workspace though, and this joint really excels in that area. Theres a large table and a window bar that are both perfect for working. On the other side of the place theres more traditional tables in case you just want to relax with a friend. One big issue for me (and almost left 4 stars instead bc of this) was how uncomfortable the chairs were. Completely flat and hard. Id still recommend it though.

Ive been there 3 times now. The coffee is terrible... The first time my cappuccino was like warm and taste like milk with a trace of coffee. The next time the coffee was so hot I had to wait about 15 minutes before I could drink it (after scorching my tounge). The third time, I just ordered 2 bagles, they got the order wrong 3 times. WTH? Im done with this place.

LOVE Black Rock!! I usyally get the Irish breve for a treat. The other times just a breve. I did try a sugar free Red Bull with lime and rasberry which was AMAZING!! Sometimes I go twice a day!! Im addicted!!! Good bye Starbucks hellooo Black Rock!!!

Been here several times and they consistently have friendly service, but not over the top annoying friendly like some others. Drive thru is convenient. Although if you have time to hang out, its a nice vibe inside.

5 stars for a friendly staff and absorbing a location before McStarbucks could. Hip and modern atmosphere, music was fresh and not Botch Bros loud and I didnt wait 10 years for an iced beverage that was refreshing.

I am totally willing to give 5 stars, except when I asked for an XL, I was only given a large. On the plus side, I was also only charged for a large. Maybe I needed to speak louder? I say 4.9/5.
