I have always loved Fire Tower Coffee. I fell in love with lattes over a decade ago because of this coffee shop. It is a great place to have a latte and study or meet a friend. Its peaceful, comfortable, the service is great, and the coffee, espresso, and food hAve always been excellent. I heard they cook their eggs with steam from their espresso machine... next time I get eggs I will definitely pay attention. I love going in and looking at artwork by local artists. I highly recommend this coffee shop.

We get morning coffee or tea there nearly everyday! Plus my wife and I often share a Daves Breakfast Burrito - but made with turkey rather than sausage. The eggs are steam cooked in the espresso machine - we love it and one is enough for both of us! Update: I dont work downtown anymore but it is still my favorite coffee shop in Helena! I love how Nord, the owner, focuses exclusively on YOU when he is taking your order! Great coffee, great food!

MONTANA GUIDE -
If the Capital City could be summed up in one image, it would be that of the fire tower. You are not able to climb the fire tower, as it is a delicate piece of history but it is worth the visit. The view from the area of the tower lets you take a great look at Downtown Helena, which is another great sight in itself!

Lovers and intellectuals alike flock to this cozy Cafe. Comfortable group style seating, rich mahogany furnishings, and the arroma of organic beans combine in this Cafe and pull forth the creative nature from all those wise enough to utter the words "For here".

The service was exceedingly slow, especially considering we both ordered peanut butter and jam sanwiches. I requested sour dough bread from the options, and I received what looked and tasted like inferior white bread. I do not recommend this place.

I travel some and cant find coffee as good as their coffee anywhere. Im working on a book there and sit for hours. They roast their own beans in back - fair traded and organic beans at that. The staff is hot and cool. The food is good too.

Great shop for a quick stop or a place to stay and use internet. Lots of outlets and lot of areas for seating including regular and high top tables, and couches. Staff was friendly and time efficient. Clean and relaxed environment.

Went in paid for 2 drip coffees. Got a 1/4 cup and then the pot was empty as were the next 3 pots. Told the owner, he wouldnt make another pot or refund my cup or even offer to make an espresso drink. Dont go here. Horrible service.

Helena is a coffee town with a number of very good independent coffee shops, but the Firetower is the best for its fresh roasted coffee (roasted on premises) and atmosphere. Truly a locals destination in Helena.

Before I moved to Helena, I had a friend not from Helena tell me I had to go to Firetower Coffee, because of a drink called Heaven in the cup. So I did just that. It was AMAZING!! I love it!
