Goto this one out of convenience all the time. They generally mess up my order even after repeating it correctly back to me two or three times. Finally had enough and called to ask how to get my order ordered correct next time. The shift leader was extremely annoyed and would not let me speak but ended up giving me my credit after I got rude and loud. Went back today to get my credit and the girl acted like I was speaking a foreign language when I told her I had a credit. She got the manager (same one who messed up my original order) and he found it in the book but proceeded to scald me telling me that because I didnt mention the credit first that he had to void it and it looks like theft when he has to do it..blah blah blah. Not once did any one of them apologize and in fact I said sorry because I felt like I was in the wrong the whole time with the way they acted. Ive had years of food management before and if I had ever handled the situation like that I surely would of been told to clock out. I understand things get messed up especially when I am picky but messing up more than 75 percent of the time even when you repeat it back to me correctly and then acting like I am asking for the world the first time I finally get vocal about this recurring issue. I would rather go through the hassle to deal with the Gold Star in the mall or all the traffic on Beechmont before going the 2 miles to this one and have to deal with the staff and probably an incorrect order. In addition, please learn to fully cook your hot dogs.

Ive lived here my whole life and as far as I can remember this location has always been subpar. If the owners are still the same they hardly speak English and every employee Ive heard that works there have nothing but bad things to say about it. Last time I went there I got food poisoning. Save your money, spend some time going to a better one instead.

Heaven on a plate. If you arent from the Cincinnati area, you might not understand. If you are from Cincinnati, you might not understand unless you move away. We moved to Tennessee 15 years ago, and now getting back to see family is just an excuse to eat at Gold Star. If you havent had it go, if you live near it, go more often.

Ordered $43+ worth of food... spaghetti and chili both tastes very bad like chemicals for cleaning. Called to complain was told they would replace the whole order but now they wont. They say we didnt call and it didnt happen when my wife called 5 minutes after my daughter picked up the order.... still in her call log.

Really wont come back, came in and asked for a Coney crate with only two with mustard and onions and the rest with onions no mustard. She then lost her mind and told us how we order our other seven...Theres ten to a pack... Not the first bad experience either but it is my last. Cant stand this location anymore.

The best chili place in Cincinnati, skyline eat your heart out. Gold star has the absolute best coneys, and they offer many other fantastic items on the menu with chilli or otherwise. Theyve also got surprisingly good milk shakes. The chocolate banana one is heaven.

Ten minutes in the drive thru for two cheese coneys is too long. There were only two cars in line in front of me. The drive thru is configured in a way that you cannot get around the car in front of you.

Went there today and the service was very slow it took about 10 minutes to get my drink and by the time I got my food I had to take it with me because my lunch was over. Very poor service today!
