Wow! Fast friendly service, terrific food prep and presentation. The owner is usually there during and the Manager is a professional family type of man (not fresh out of high school). This aint your neighborhood Chipotle this is an entirely better experience. Warning the chips and queso are on the Salty side, if you like them that way you are golden, if not skip them. The generously filled Burrito will still fill you up, eat 1/2 now save half for later you will be glad you did. A little more cash but well worth the investment. Just try CalTort even the salads are good and I am a carnivore.

Great place. Interior is nice and clean. Leather seats, nice air conditioning temperature in the summer. Many hot sauces to choose from, and theres a bottle on every table. Staff are friendly and respectful and the owners are often there to help out, bring food to your table, and even just chat with you or give you freebies. Things that could be improved upon, theres no utensils available like at the Quince Orchard location, and the food is a bit on the expensive side, but its worth it. All in all, a great place that goes above and beyond most restaurants.

The most amazing service I have had anywhere! The owner and manager have been here every time I came. They serve you and care for you as if you are their family! The food is terrific and the service is even better. Honey lime burrito with chicken is my favorite with chips and guacamole. California tortilla always has great food but this location has to be the best one. It is always kept spotless and I didnt have to get up once because they took care of everything from trash to extra napkins etc. Highly recommend!

Rekindled the love of Cal.tort. food. The atmosphere will beat a good sit down restaurant. Super patient and friendly staff with kids placing the order and amazing owner. personally served the food and followed up. Served some Andys mint after our food. I have visited other newly opened Cal.Torts but nothing to compare with this. My top rated chain restaurant. Especially this location. The food was so fresh. Loved the crispy lettuce and fresh tomatoes. Highly recommend this place.

I just want to say Kevin and Ken are two special gentlemen. I came to lunch with my 2 daughters and Mother. From holding open the doors to giving my children cookies and Hershey kisses I really enjoyed my experience. I usually go to Chipotle but since recent events I wanted a substitute and they did that for not only me but the children and my Mother. From cashiers to staff I enjoyed California Tortilla XO

Extremely friendly (the owners have been inside greeting people very time Ive come in). The last time I came in, unfortunately, I had the worst chips Ive ever had at a Cal Tort, but Im hoping this was just a fluke (never had a problem before - really hoping this isnt a new recipe!). And Im disappointed to hear the turkey chili is being discontinued (though thats corporates fault, not this branchs).

Amazing food and service!!! This is a must for anyone visiting this area. We are from Virginia and have never heard of this restaurant and we were very impressed! Such nice owners and staff. The food was the best weve eaten for a while and we have never had such friendly service! They greet you at the door and make sure everything is good during your entire meal. We cant wait to come back!!

A location for my favorite DC burritos that I didnt know existed. One of the first businesses in a complex thats growing around it. Nice green space out front with outdoor table and a "dancing waters" fountain to amuse your kids. Check it out when youre in the neighborhood. Only .7 mile from the Gaithersburg Costco and .3 mile from Kaiser Permanente Gaithersburg Medical Center.

The food is great, the location is great, and the restaurant is clean. What makes this location a million times better than any other place is the friendly staff and the amazing manager. He greets us every time with a smile and treats for the kids. He really goes above and beyond so this has become our favorite place to go to. Thank you so much for always making our day!!

Maybe one of the best Cal Torts I have eaten at ( and I have eaten at the ones in Bethesda, Merrifield, Oakton, and airport). Best service and wonderful outside eating area where the kids can run around and play in water-scape. European-like outdoor patio feel. Food was great, as ordered, and as expected. Clean bathrooms, too! Highly recommend.

Great food, friendly staff and fast service. The manager is usually out with the staff personally thanking people for coming by. Eating area is kept clean as are the bathrooms. Only negative is the somewhat isolated location, but this problem will fix itself as the surrounding area finishes construction and more shops are built.

The food was delicious. I had the Korean BBQ and they were gracious enough to make it the way I asked. Crew was friendly and fast service. Had my 83 year old dad with me. Staff was patient with him. I appreciated that. Wow, they brought out a dish of wrapped chocolates! Definitely returning.

I am a regular customer, I like to take my family here , we all love the food. But some common sense people please !!!! people have kids and kids loved balloons why to have them around and when my kid asked for one balloon you can possible say no! to a two years old .? A balloon?

Good quality food with lots of flavor. Burritos are huge. Kids meals were a bit pricey but still included a dessert and drink. Service was slow and the staff seemed uninterested in helping explain the menu.
