I grew up on southern "meat and three" restaurants so Im not unfamiliar with places like the Cherokee Ranch. Ive eaten there several times on my to and from Lake Lanier. The food is always pretty good. I love their cornbread...no sugar...which means its REAL cornbread, not yankee cake. I wouldnt say its anything to write home about but I like the relaxed atmosphere. Some on here talk about people yelling across the room, well heck, thats what makes a southern "meat and three" charming to me. When people know each other and feel comfortable hollering "Hey Billy...yall want some more tea?" I feel right at home even if they dont know me personally.

The workers are rude they yell , it is a buffet get as much as you want they told us that when we 1st starting going there , well today she told us we get to much they have to charge us more , then I got a bowel of soup 2 size bowels no prices on them ,should have prices not til you get there and she tells u it is to late the big bowel is more really. Good food but think about it service.

We have been driving by this landmark for years and finally stopped in for a bite. They offer a simple "meat and 2" buffet style. I had the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans with cornbread muffin. All were cooked acceptably well. The decor is pretty basic, but the staff was friendly and attentive. It merits a return trip for the coconut cream pie (or so I hear).

I ordered a large bar b que sandwich and fries... it was almost 10.00... the sandwich was the size of a cheeseburger at McDonalds, thats being generous... the fries had no salt and the sauce water down ketchup... plus the lady at the register, shell take her own sweet time... Hope you have a loyal crowd...

This is a little country restaurant that has been open for at least 20 years that I can remember. It isnt going to be anything super special with updated decor, etc., but their fried chicken and coconut cream pie are excellent. The coconut cream pie is my favorite of any restaurant. It is awesome.

Great food and friendly service. Not sure what Ms. Jenkins meant in her review... I can only assume she was referring to bowls of soup as "bowels" has a WHOLE NOTHER meaning. Everyone who eats here will get their bowels full...and from where Im sitting, that aint a bad thing.

We had a great breakfast, the country ham and eggs were perfect. The prices are good and the coffee was hot. The staff was quick to take the order and came by frequently with refills. This was a great down home breakfast.
