This is my favorite Empress. It is a very old location which is why it always seems like Im visiting a dated diner, but it serves the purpose.i go whenever Im craving a chili pizza and Im never disappointed. Service is fast, bathrooms are clean (although - no place to change a baby), and the employees are usually very friendly high school students. Parking is a breeze.

I drove through to get a pint of their famous chicken salad only to find when I got home was a pint of tuna salad. They were not crowded, 3 employees filling orders, and I got tuna salad. How hard was it to put chicken salad in a pint container. So guess I will now sit there and open my order to make sure it is right from now on.

Decent chili...good service for high school kids. Like it better than Skyline. But it is not DIXIE CHILI!! The "local guides" reviews are clear they never ate Dixie Chili!!!
