The environment is great! Its clean and everything is prepared quickly. Ive never had a bad experience with the food. And the staff is usually very nice! The taste is different than other pizza places. I think if you like more bland tasting crust and arent big on meats, you should try it! I usually get their Margarita base and top it with vegetables. I think style is the key word here. If youre just a plain cheese or pepperoni guy, I dont think youll be impressed. The pizzas can be thin too. So, when its hot, trying to pick up a slice with too many toppings is difficult as everything will fall right off. I often see people eating their pizza with a fork here. The salads are pretty good too. They could use a few more toppings to choose from for the salads though. Its not a big deal. Poor selection of dressing, I never use theirs. The Parmesan bread-sticks are acceptable. For some reason it comes with ranch. Who thought RANCH should be the standard?? The proper dipping sauce is always marinara. Which you can luckily order instead. Unfortunately, their cold dipping marinara sauce is disgusting. It has almost NO FLAVOR! Definitely recommend trying

Initially I was pretty excited to try this place, especially when I walked in and smelled the aroma of the seemingly delicious fresh food... Unfortunately, the service and food (sandwiches) were extremely sub-par. I went in with a couple co-workers and they had both received their food while I waited 10 minutes for my buzzer to go off to indicate my food was ready. It turns out, my sandwich was ready and sitting on the counter, and they did not even notify me (either via buzzer nor via name alert), it wasnt until I walked up to the counter and asked if they had forgot about my sandwich (as my coworkers were practically done with their lunch and other customers came and went with their food)... So my chicken curry sandwich ultimately was cold and left me feeling unfulfilled... I still may try their pizza, but after todays experience... I would be surprised If I ate at NeoPapalis again.

Ordered and paid online, picked the food at the restaurant. The website is nice and gives you enough information about the food. The Greek salad was pretty good, the thin crust margarita pizza we customized was very good as well. Everything was ready at the exact time when we wanted to pick the food up. Definitely recommend this place. -- Update. We sat in today, the pizza we had was good, they messed up the order of a friend who asked for a vegetarian sandwich though. It took around 20 minutes for it to get ready and then it had chicken in it. They fixed the problem, but werent as quick/nice as youd like. Still I think it was a one time thing, its a good place. :)

Third best neapolitan pizza in town behind Mani and Bigalora, but about half the price of the next cheapest and convenient to downtown/campus, hence the 5 stars. Food comes out fast, beer selection is very solid, though doesnt rotate much. Red Marinara (vegan) pizza plus fresh mozzarella, is the same price as the Marinara, but adds delicious garlic and tomatoes, so get that every time, ask it to be cooked well-done if you really like a crisp and burnt crust. A much more casual affair than Mani, but a good place to watch a game on TV, or have a conversation over a beer and pizza.

This place is has two of my favorite qualities, which are cheap and delicious. This is similar to any of those make your own pizzas, but these pies are bigger, better quality items, and taste much better. My wife and I regularly visit this place, when we go to Ann Arbor to pick up my comic books. We leave here for around $10, completely full and satisfied. How many places can you get a pizza with fresh ingredients that can feed two for only $10..in Ann Arbor of all places? I really have nothing negative to say about NeoPapalis, resulting in a perfect 5 star rating.

I just ordered for the first time, I had an hour left of work and was hungry, so I ordered a salad and payed a friend $2 to go pick it up from NeoPapalis, when the friend got back with the salad, there were no napkins or utensils to eat it with, I called and spoke with the manager to see if they would bring me some or let me return it after work, because I ordered it to eat at work. They said they wouldnt help me at all, that the utensils were there to grab and it was my problem. Now I have a $10 salad and no way to eat it! : (

My family and I have been a handful of times and I dont think we would be back, although the service there has been great. The Pizza doesnt seem like its fully cooked in the middle especially, they need to cook them a bit longer. I feel its a bit rushed, not a fan of mushy half cooked pizza. The first time we went it was fine which is not long after they opened and it had went down hill from there. Again I will state that the service was good and I usually return to places based off that too but only if the food is good enough.

They have fantastic pizza that is reasonably priced. The pizza is made fresh right in front of you and you choose the ingredients you want, sort of Chipotle-style. They are waiting on a liquor license FYI as of 12/15/12, but once that gets done they say theyll offer lots of Michigan microbrews. 3 big screen TVs with sports on. The style is authentic Italian, so if you want thick, greasy slices, this isnt for you. I love it though. Price of an individual pie is $6-9 and my girlfriend and I can eat there for under $20 total.

NeoPapalis pizza is great in general, but I am specifically dedicating this 5-star review to their catering service. The owner and staff were very accommodating on short notice for my delivery, they provided an excellent selection of pizzas, they arrived right on time, and they had great customer service overall! Everyone on my team gave a thumbs up for deliciousness. Plus, the value for your money is fantastic. Very highly recommended for a group event!

This place is awesome. I think that NeoPapalis has the best pizza in town, even if you compare it to whats available for ~2x the price. If youre in the mood for a salad, no problem -- nice selection of ingredients and the size is generous. And their sweet potato fries! Also my favorite in town! And their cinnamon sticks! Delicious! Simple dishes + Fresh ingredients + Quick, Friendly Service + Very Reasonable Prices = NeoPapalis

Great pizza and a rotating tap of 12 fantastic Michigan beers. The pizza is thin crust and you get to personalize the pie to your tastes. Solid salads as well (I recommend the chipotle ranch). They also have a happy hour deal where you get a beer with your personal pizza. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Ask bartender Justin for a beer recommendation. Hes a great guy and knows his beers.
