The products are wonderful. However, the friendliness of the staff is hit or miss; some are very welcoming, some make it clear that they are doing you a favor to take your order. The phone is where it consistently falls apart; several times I have called to place an advance order, only to be told - "oh we dont normally make those, that was a special order overrun that day. Sorry; you cant have it", or "sorry; you missed the deadline for ordering. Well have a good supply that day though; stop in and take your chances". (sorry, Im not taking chances; I will have to buy elsewhere and know for sure I will have what I need). They are closed on Monday (everyone needs a day off, I get it) and then Tuesday at noon is the cutoff for placing an order for Thursday (not really advertised anywhere - and what if you were working and couldnt call them before noon?). I realize there has to be a cutoff but advertise it clearly, so its not a disappointing surprise. Whats most disappointing is that that news is delivered with a very unsympathetic sorry about your luck tone. Today was the 3rd strikeout.

Everything here is absolutely delicious. Ill pop in to grab a baguette when I have dinner guests and usually leave with an assortment of croissants and sweet treats. I spent $3.00 on a baguette last week, and it isnt quite as large as the ones you can get at nearby supermarkets for a dollar less, but much better quality. Plus, its not much of an up charge when you consider you are supporting a local business. I find that Rocket Baby to be relatively on par with many of my favorite bakeries in France and North Africa; although, it is quite pricey, but I have resigned all hopes of getting a baguette for a buck or less in the USA that would be worth serving to guests.

Where am I? Is this Europe? Paris, perhaps?? Thats what walking into Rocket Baby feels like -- a Parisian boulangerie. The breads and pastry selections are always the best and, I dont know about you, but I could live on fresh, crusty bread with unsweetened butter and a glass of wine or beer. Wonderbread will never cut it; the loaves that Rocket Baby makes will. So delicious. Theyve also got good coffee. Want a mini-vacation? Go to Rocket Baby, get a scone and a coffee and sit back and relax. Ah, Paris...

The food is wonderful. Not very friendly. Owner was seated next to us and glanced as we walked in the door. No hello (we were only customers besides the 2 people she was visiting with). The lady that helped us was short with us. It was very cut and dry ordering. I have to say the pizza was fantastic. Cashier stared at us periodically...Just put a smile on your face. Say hello or at least goodbye. Girl writing on the window as we left glanced up as we left and continued writing.

Extremely disappointing. For the price, youd expect good coffee. However the latte was very bitter, and when I asked for a flavor shot to cut the bitterness, the woman rolled her eyes and we ended up with coffee that was WAY too sweet to drink. Additionally, we waited 25 minutes for one sandwhich during an off time when it was not busy. Not worth the $23 I spent. Wish we wouldnt have tried something new and went to Crankys across the street.

Who doesnt love baked good! (low carb people, but they wouldnt be looking here unless they are hoping for a low carb option. There isnt one and dont spoil it for the rest of us.) I love everything here. Including the bran muffins. There used to be a coffee snob who made coffee there. But it looks like they are not working the front anymore so enjoy the coffee too.

The staff here are phenomenal. I really enjoy coming in to see smiling, helpful faces. I really enjoy the danish and all the baked goods to be honest! Today, I thought Id try a sandwich. All of them sounded delish, but I tried the Harris. It was outstanding. It came with a yummy salad to boot. Rocket Baby is by far one of my favorite bakeries in town.

$$$uper Expen$ive Sandwiches are @$10 each Cookies are @$2 each Get to seat yourself if a table is available. Dont forget to clean up after you finish. Tubs for dishes are provided. No Wifi available. Rather disappointed (unless youre independently wealthy). Surprised someone actually brought the sandwiches to the table.

Try the focaccia. Seriously. I almost cried it was that good. The other food is equally as emotion inducing. You can tell they put a heaping scoop of love in every bite because each one goes down like the hug your father never gave you. For the stoic and unemotional: just go for the flavor. Youll thank me later.

I had awful experiences at Rocket Baby. The staff is rude and disrespectful. The food is a ripoff!! It costs over $7 for a tiny piece of quiche! Also, I found eggshells in my muffin which is disgusting and repulsive. Do not recommend! You can do better elsewhere!

I havent been to this bakery. But John K. at work just brought some treats in. I am eating the best Almond Croissant imaginable. Strike that - I never even imagined a croissant this delicious. Cant wait to try other items from this bakery!

This is not a gluten-free restaurant and does not offer gluten-free products. Not sure why it shows up in the search results as having gluten-free options. It does however, great food and nice atmosphere. Moderately high prices.

My favorite bakery/cafe in the Milwaukee area. The food is always spot on, the coffee dependably delicious, and the staff is generally great. My only complaint is sometimes not being able to get a seat!

Best baguette Ive had outside of Paris. I have never had anything but the bread, tho. Tosa Sourdough is a must try and I get all my bread there now. Very affordable and consistently good.

Below average coffee, not inexpensive and disappointing on a Sunday morning. The cookies were not what you would expect from a bakery. I expect to be wowed.

$3 for a pretty good scone? Do you get to keep the silverware? Their prices are crazy. The best rolls Ive ever eaten were in Austria, and cost about 25¢!

My husband is from Germany. We have been searching for authentic Polish Rye bread just like he was used to in Berlin. We found it at Rocket Baby Bakery!
